Obtuse abuse..rude platitudes shout..
About alternative attitudes..generations..
Scream at different altitudes & latitudes..
Venerate mandarins sins..
Generate pernicious vicissitudes
Vicious avaricious machinations..
Celebrate nations chagrin…
Pander to propaganda spin..
AI garlanded reputations..
Cohorts in suits cavort in cahoots..
Kiss or diss..the abyss
Hiss of mis-information bliss..
Arrests..capitalist corporate conquests...detests protest..
Well got egregious prior & previous..

We know what's wrong..doesn't belong
Deliriously daring to dream of derring do..

Febrile Fog obfuscates palimpsest varnished promises..
Naysayers hoodwinked... deluded players peeling layers..denuded..
Deafening din of our chagrin...
Espoused by rabbles roused by mandarins’ sins..
Tarnished...pampered pilferers pickpocketing public purses...
Deploring the warring cacophony of citizens curses..
Ignoring the boring nagging nadir of nurses...
Corporate castles built without stilts on hourglass sands..
Placards versus lanyards..
Culprits preach parsimony from privileged pulpits..
Civic critics.. protests...pyrrhric..?
No tut tuts..relax…gluts of tax cuts for property sluts..
Licentious larcenists..lust for boom then bust..
Lavishly lacing our lives with lies..
Yet the more we holler...hanker..
Murky truths get darker...muckier.. starker..danker..
Avaricious arsonists torching our cries of why...
Leave us lolloping in a regret & forget.. leaking latrine...
Reeking of what could & should have been..

COLONISATION
A country that previously stood alone
But then, to be part of a greater whole
The language adopting a different tone
And some may argue, will lose its soul
Yet there have been instances of shame
Securing and raiding natural resources
When avaricious trade stakes its claim
Even imposing rule with armed forces
But if done well, there will be a benefit
To new generations, bringing aspiration
However, one does have to think of it
As by many, it’s still called colonisation

Cowboys
Let the cowboys be…
Let them tend to causes....genuine and real
To bequeath…an opportunity to be authentic.
To bequeath…a shot at redemption
To weed the errant and replant in ravines, chasms
In pastures new…
….the errant cowboys,
…..burdensome, irksome, oppressive…too much
….for sale, with privileges too plentiful
…..the ones acting out.. avaricious mode aplenty
……one too many errors
……. lives not to be trampled upon
………let the cowboys be, in bountiful pastures new!
Perhaps some coffee beans to sweep away the pain
The angst caused by servings of callous, and cruelties untold

War To End All Wars
It will be the war
On corporate polluters
The corporate polluters
Who deprive Our Children
Of clean air, clean water and clean food
These corporate polluters
Driven by ego and greed
Are relentless
In their pursuit of profits
To sustain their avaricious
Narcissistic lifestyles
*
Parents and their Children
Will be armed with Love, Courage
And Determination to
Dismantle the laws and policies
Allowing rampant pollution
To harm so many of us
Demand for corporate accountability
Will be heard from 'Sea to Shining Sea'
*
We are on the Edge of Existence
We and Our Children
Will not be pushed
Over the cliff
*
The Love we have for
Our Children
And their future
Will engender
A massive push-back
And a fierce stare-down
Of corporate giants
*
Governments will understand
A Mother's
Intense
Ferocious
Passion
To Save
Protect
Their
Children
The
Future
They
Deserve
*

A raw red crater of hunger;
the clacking tongue a buckram spear
shaken at all comers.
The gulls mouth is the gull,
the gullet is the gull
the torso, the snowy pale blue plumage,
that dark under-feathering
all the body of the bird
a perfect bow
for the arrowing beak
and its raucous bugle.
A neck stretched for greed;
above that gorge, hard-set and avaricious,
glint eyes long allied to savage seas.
The bird has the primal scream
of a scavenger,
the gall of the harassing hunter
- and yet is admirable,
sleekly beautiful, often graceful,
until,
rigid jaws agape
we regard its wide-open craw,
wince
as those shears clamp down
on some still wriggling shred.

Four Billion years or thereabouts
Earth has orbited its appointed place
Slowly and surely developing into
A safe and hospitable living space
What a strange year this has been
Year Two Thousand and Twenty Two
You seem to have bern so long passing
And I’m so glad to see the back of you.
A year of invasion and Warfare
Of bullies flexing their might
Seeming secure in their belief
That might alone is right.
A year of political spectres
Of crooks, spivs and ghouls
Carelessly showing to the world we
Are lead by blatant self seeking fools.
The greedy and avaricious seem
To want, and take, more and more
Leaving even less for the peasants
To fight and grub for off the floor.
The rich man in his castle still,
Security light and guard at his gate,
More and more decrying the excesses
Of the battered remnant Welfare State.
So goodbye twenty twenty two
Heaven only knows what we’ll see,
More of the same and worse I think, when
They usher in year Twenty Twenty Three.
Four thousand years give a century or two
That’s just about as long as it’s taken
For man to abuse Earth’s delicate balance
And leave it stunned and badly shaken

The human race, what a running gag we are
We truly believed that we are infallible
But alas that is a damn fabrication
We were never flawless to commerce with
Why would we be flawless when we are eliminating Earth
The being who gave us life
It is in avaricious that chopped down numerous trees that gift us Oxygen
It is in voracious that drove many species into extinction
It is in acquisitive for resources that extracted Earth dried
It is in rapacious that poisoned the air we breathe in and the ocean
We were appraise numerous times to cease but it is our human stubbornness that we are refused to not listen
There are numerous that attempt to save the Earth and unfortunately we scorn them
It is our human egotastic that is caused the death of our beloved planet
And now we must reap what we sow
With no redemption
We must watch our loved ones pass one by one
We must observed the human race become go extinct
Because of Human nature

By the steeple, all the people
That said no to Mr Needle
All the people too suspicious
Got diseases that were vicious
For the reaper, avaricious
Finds the human too delicious
So deny the plan he’ll hatch
Take the sharp but tiny scratch
Don’t reside with all the people
In the ground beside the steeple

Milburn Drysdale was an avaricious banker.
On the show, he was very funny.
If he lost consciousness, he didn't need smelling salts.
All he had to do was smell some money.
based on the television show "The Beverly Hillbillies".

Are you rapacious with your poetry,
avaricious in your verse
Covetous of those words you read,
jealous—maybe worse
Do your thoughts deceive with what you write,
does bad intention rule the day
Those tracks you leave, the trap you’ve set
—with you the final prey

Sifting streams of gold through my hands
Sapphire strewn sands from distant lands
Lusty ambition's avaricious reach
All together rise up to teach --
Polished silver is shiny; bronze basks in the sun
But humble deeds, stitched in Heaven
Of Eternity are spun

I - this vacant building, dilapidated by years and cold inadvertence.
Obscurities dance in my eaves, ravenous belfry bats, scouring dusk -
Notions, plans, dreams, impulses - the detritus that bloats their bellies.
Scrawny, gnarled trees about me, bony-fingered limbs clawing, scraping,
Biased, ragged people who assume to know, whose perspectives bleed -
Careless, avaricious purposes, spirits gutted like my stark, graffitied walls.
YOU shall redeem me ... douse my scaffolding, ignite these timbers ...
Ravage my whole with conflagration, toss the cooling ashes windward!
My foundation runs deeper than these trees' tangled roots ... now ...
Raise again, my walls - loving, formidable, joyous, and you ... INSIDE.

A rich-only career fortress
A man’s world, where others protest to impress
Where you seek any progress
By being a self-starved actress
Where the normalcy of serial monogamy
Ignores the tenets of loyalty and family
Profanity has eloquence
Obscenity is glamourous
An industry dressed up in robes of hypocrisy
So avaricious but with tears over piracy
Diversity is merely for the stage
Equal opportunity is caged
Their life has a prescript
To live for a price tag
Their feelings are not distinct
But they live so far away from us
In world of sex and looks, always lusting for extolment
