Oh ye of weathered withered soul,
Worry not of final curtain calls.
Though this stage has taken its toll,
Your life replete as twilight falls.
Memories once long forgotten,
Creep to the forefront of your mind.
Your past deeds are ne'er ill-gotten,
On a narrow path you did find.
A purveyor of riches vast,
Wrought by honor and fortitude.
Assembled with no aspersions cast,
On those who bore feckless attitude.
So when you reach the bitter end,
Fear not, there's no use in crying.
For those who knew you best my friend,
Will shed warm tears at your dying.

But I’ll refrain, she said to me.
I have my doubts, will wait and see.
She’s broken silence in the past;
her gossiping is unsurpassed,
the queen of gab in royal reign,
but I’ll refrain.
See, I’m not one to talk about,
to cast aspersions, or bring doubt,
or I might be inclined to say
her tongue is loose and it won’t stay,
but I’ll refrain.

Two bucket of beers and a basket of chips
grinning I said at the door
how gracious to greet us so quickly
Never so promptly before
No aspersions toward La Luna
as this was our second time here
Spectacular chips and salsa
I was kidding about the beer
we leisurely looked at the menus
Ordered coke when they said out of tea
except for us place was full empty
Still nothing occurring to me
I told the man who served us
I'm going to do a test
My favorite Myan dish ordered
to see who had the best
Mamacita she pulled out all the stops si
beautiful delicious too
discussed how their entre differed before
Presenting the ribbon blue
They could not have been any nicer
A lovely place to dine
good food and warm smiling servers
And manners gracious and fine
As we walked to the car I glanced at the door
to see our distance from whistle bit
I could not believe they were closed
When we came and never a word of it.
It made up for every dry burger, warm salad, tepid soup
my faith in eating out again
La Luna served to recoup

I welcome change as long as it is God breathed
Like peace turning to war, the blade is unsheathed
Like rain tending the crop, then the sun comes to ripen
For in futility we push to cause, no let God's Will happen
No aspersions cast on diligence
Just that times and seasons know our negligence
As we fail to read the signs of the times
Nothing of the moment and deed rhymes
For until time came did Christ enter Jerusalem
Though beseeched He commended not Himself to them
And when came the hour of the Son of Man to be lifted up
It was the very time to drink of His cup
None knows the day nor the hour but the Father
All knees shall at the place of bow gather
And it shall all change suddenly to eternity
To the baffle and relief of a great fraternity.

Oh, for a poem to stir men's souls
to remove pseudo-shackles, to set new goals
Oh, for a lyric to move folks to cheer
to cast off aspersions, to eliminate fear
Oh, for a rhyme enabling spirits to climb
to soar to new heights - airy, sublime
Oh, for an idea to shine and shimmer
to pass muster, yet glow on and glimmer
Oh, for an age that rewards the courageous
~ understands that surrender's contagious

Tin cup of criticism
hollow and blue
Empty aspersions
poison the brew
Its venom unasked for
distilling in pain
Opinion left rancid
—acidic and vain

Let freedom ring across the land
For truth and justice take our stand
Let the traitorous insurrectionists see
We stand for true American democracy.
Let our Grand Ol' Flag always wave
Above the home of the free and the brave
For those who fought for the rights we employ
And guard the freedoms we still enjoy.
Do not fall for any senseless conspiracies
Drivel festering like malignant disease
Threatening to destroy the truth we know
With gross, misleading lies from a foe.
What good could replace our liberty
And make our beloved land satisfactory
To those who would rip our nation apart
Flinging aspersions into her very heart.
Soon we will celebrate another 4th of July
May we never trade the truth for some lie
Or fall for farfetched fanciful blathers
Forgetting in the meantime what really matters.

This Prism
Deep within this prism, consumed by emotions you dare not share
Lost within a sea of woe, hoping for redemption, you do not dare
Cast off the burdens of expectations, that hold no worldly truth
Wherein lie most lost dreams, within the shadows of your youth
In this chasm of despondency, wallowing in the depth of your mind
Casting aspersions to those, that seek no more than to be unkind
Finding a solitary solution, the key within your solemn, tortured soul
Seeking the answers to all the many queries, oh such a daunting toll
Sitting quietly, this war rages on within your worrisome thought
Questioning all you knew and all the lessons you’ve been taught
Of who you really are, of what events transpired to get you here
Should you turn, north, south, east or west this hemisphere
Perhaps find a simplicity within your life to call your own
So even within your darkness, knowing your never alone
And your answers may not come from the world outside
But you come to realize, internally all the answers reside

Return to the nest and dream of grand scenarios
Exist in conjured moments where we can be closer or further divided
Anything but this middle ground latency
A purgatory of judgement
You cut off all future plans
Severed aspersions roll off the block
And stop at my feet
Look up at me with wild uncertainty
Kick it back to the nest and dream of grand scenarios

scornful, abusive
you speak, treat with disrespect
giving cause offense
rude cause of my face
called me names, other than James
defame militate
it’s cause my skin brown
bad-mouth cast aspersions on
this went on and on
nineteen seventy
disparage, jailed in small town
cause my step-brother
tried to steal rifle
from off a Gun store wall yes
I was innocent
was called everything
from N**ER, yawh, boy nobody…
I sure was insulted
all but child of God
prejudice and rage surfaced
never ask my name
below the Mason
Dixon Line in a small town
I was just INSULTed

Porsche drivers are the elite of our society
Scottie owns one, his nose high above this atmospherity
Don't want to cast aspersions
But it's a 2012 version
But it's still a Porsche, his nose is still high in the skyity

Don't Dare Tell the Truth
Just make believe all is well~
Like driving a car, with no brakes on the way to hell.
For starters start hating God, Christians and Jews.
Next, give away all control to the government, too.
Let them decide what you can read, see or hear.
And yes, that day already is here!
Give up all guns to the government, just as the Jews
in Germany did.
You forgot the Holocaust history!
You did, you did!
I suggest you see Schindler's List and the vile things
Hitler did.
We are throwing our American freedoms out the door,
And waiting like helpless puppies to be slain on the floor.
The name aspersions we lay on others who don't think
our way,
Doesn't portend for a happier day.

Don't want to cast aspersions but have you heard these words
Things are going to turn out to be different, so say the birds
A feeling of some tugging
Maybe gravity that's sucking
Perhaps aliens who were naked as in the shadows they lurked

Sorry ,
My friend and confident of days old
Do not fret
Regret is wasted until the cost is met
I still hold you in high regard
I still remember you covered in your mothers make-up
And sitting on the naughty step
Until
Fame and success took hold of you
Before
Everybody grew through you
Not beside or along with you
You lifted while those around you stole
1 piece at a time a part of your soul
Hanging on to your coattails tooth and nail
Riding the gravy train for all it's worth
What on earth happened to you my friend
Fame and success has been unkind to you
And this is written not in pursuit of envy or jealousy
Rather than to remind you 1 day
When all is said and done
Down in the dumps out of luck
And your so called friends have abandoned you
You will realize I never gave up or left you
Cast aspersions or judged you
All I ever wanted was my best friend back
And to go back to having Sleep Over's
When we used to tell and share everything
I didn't loose a friend
I lost my sister

Echoes!
Faint echoes
abound.
Ghosts in
the ether.
Faint, subtle.
Barely discernible.
Information
never lost
yet
nearly so.
The void,
filled with
echoes,
forever.
Echoes of
once was.
Echoes filled
with civilizations
noise.
Filled with
essence,
filled with
history.
Stories
of civilizations.
All that ever
was, just echoes.
Echoes filled
with ethos,
filled with
poems,
filled with
aspersions,
filled with each
civilizations
essence.
All they
represented.
Gone now!
Passing like
ghost ships.
Ghost ships
in the
night.
Echoes
passing thru
echoes.
Commingling.
Meeting!
Ghosts, meeting
ghosts deep
in the void!
Exchanging,
yet
never to
have met
at all.
