Don'T Dare Tell the Truth

Don't Dare Tell the Truth

Just make believe all is well~
Like driving a car, with no brakes on the way to hell.
For starters start hating God, Christians and Jews.
Next, give away all control to the government, too.
Let them decide what you can read, see or hear.
And yes, that day already is here!
Give up all guns to the government, just as the Jews
in Germany did.
You forgot the Holocaust history!
You did, you did!
I suggest you see Schindler's List and the vile things
Hitler did.
We are throwing our American freedoms out the door,
And waiting like helpless puppies to be slain on the floor.
The name aspersions we lay on others who don't think
our way,
Doesn't portend for a happier day.

This sorta had a breezy feel and in a way preferable as the content was bit on the touchy side of the fence for me--puppies Panagiota, Aloha wk

Its touchy alright. Most poets stay away from reality. Easier to walk on moonbeams, float in rivers of flowers., etc. Life is not that airy-Fairie.the puppy thing as you realized was not puppies but a reference to our helplessness. Life can be great ~ just don't be blind,
