Love,
The emotion
From eternity to eternity
Touches humans
Giving serenity,
The ones in love
Forever fortuitous
To be singing
Life's glorious song,
A dance of
Tango
Between two
Sublime souls
Lost in the throes
Of immortal love;
Those upon whom
Cupid
Is unkind
And failed to strike
With his magical
Arrow
Must remain
Sentenced
To a life of
Degenerate
Solitude,
A life of
Unfulfilled dreams,
And missed bliss;
Deep in the ocean
Of emotion,
Lies their sunken ship
Of love
Perched precariously
On a submerged
Precipice under
The weight of
Ill chosen priorities,
Broken, rusted,
Unknowingly,
Instinctively awaiting
Some arrowed,
Amorous diver
Or a miracle
From Eros
To rekindle
The fire
Of passion
Within.

Heart, Be Still

Heart, be still.
Your restlessness perturbs the tranquil seas.
Why beat that tumultuous rhythm?
Why reel under this conquering pain?
Why mourn the unbearable loss?
Why weep when pierced with arrowed words?
Why cringe at the stab of dagger looks?
Why pine for the sweet cup of comfort that does not last?

Heart, be still.
Your wearisome antics betray you.
But how change the chaotic strain?
How ease the pain?
How dry the tears?
How quench the thirst?
Where seek for rest to stop the raging of your fury?

Heart, be still.
Your ceaseless cries disturb the stillness of the deep.
Great are your surges, never satisfied..

Heart, be still.
The sun in his glory
Has shone to calm the tempest
‘tis he alone,
He alone stays the angry seas.

Premium MemberOrdinary

he said, "I am an ordinary stone" ~
in one nocturnal rendezvous
and vanished in sky's tenebrosity
before her hands could reach
to embrace him ~

a gentle gypsy wind
dulcified her dolesome heart
and set her to slumber

a shooting star arrowed
in elegiac ebony evening~
and as she opened her eyes
she found a stone that dazzled
midst the darkest night behind her

Love’s Ponzi Scheme

I cut it as I told the world of love
carved deep into the bark for all to see
two hearts conjoined with arrowed I love you
the tree roots failed- it’s gone - and so is she
for love could not constrain her roving soul
nor I fulfill her never ending needs
the shadows of that tree are ever gone
and yet in shadowed pain my heart still bleeds
for I was promised love with all its ties
committed to it heart and soul and mind
for her it was a Ponzi scheme of lies
fulfillment of the adage “love is blind”
and yet I still believe her love was true
for I still hear her whisp’ring “I love you”

We've taken off the gloves
the "mask"querade continues
a charade of lying eyes
scanning the dance floor
following the "arrowed" steps
viewing a world through fogging glasses
squinting warily at theories
collusion, conspiracy, "coronamania"
Fauci playing Faust
the elderly as pawns
in a political chess game
as children climb fences
to enter playgrounds
and liquor store cash registers ring
guard dogs circle toilet paper towers
the homeless want "venmo" contributions
lest they touch your filthy money
and God sits idly by
locked out of "His" churches

The Children of Ever Lasting

( dreamed )

Down toward the moon beams and cross the arrowed crows,
Crying in their sun light as the morning magnet glows.
Flying proper diamonds as everyone now sees
The Yawning bed time storey is falling off the trees.
glowing people a crying dog And as no one beats the drum,
The Countless faces sing to me as madness has its fun.
The up shot is the down and the middle has no end
As the laughing shadowed figure beckons his oldest friend.
Get to where the bedlam is and wipe away that tear
For Impossible things swoop on wings feeding off your fear.
Gypsy wagon passing by as her sleeping chickens wave ??
This seems to mean,
to have them dream , if freedom’s what they crave.
A crack appears above the time But the colours keep on dancing
Eyes of green and most serene these children of everlasting.

Cicatrose

Innate with a fresh epicranium,
smooth like a marble!
Duration of her absolute head got short-lived
As if her middle name was trouble!
She wish she knew her ingle hue was purple
Too bad, no remembrance since her crown was redecorated!

An ordeal! At a tender age,
Tattooed her with seams!
One symmetrical, two adjacents, As if students learning about lines in an Arithmetic lesson!
Some curved, crossed, arrowed, arcs!
Hmm! What a tragedy!

True, she is cicatrose...
A dent, depression, enough to store water like a well, slit across her hood.
Great confidence needed to be bald because she is scary like an unvarnished wood!

A mere headache! Just a mere headache!
She wished it could have given her a break!
But no! More malady manifested.
She found refuge in a Hotel- Dieu.

Angels in white coats slit her head summit with sharp blades, she woke with a bind
Binding her stitched bald head.
Little did she know her epicranium will be cicatrose,
Which psora when exposed.
Sad, her head is cicatrose!

Superman On Torch Lake

Overlooking
The lake from his cottage deck
Like a captain last to leave his ship
My dad
Discards his cane atop the stairs
Fastens his wobbly hips and knees
Sideways
And to the rickety railing
He Inchworms his wrinkled hands
Across the slivers

Down he goes
Two feet
Each
A step at a time
Descending the 40 planks to Torch Lake

He enters the cold water

Strolling to the end of the rickety dock
Where his hands release
To a buoyancy catching him
Under his arms

My dad is young again

Springing high and settling back
Bouncy as a moon walker
Bending easily for pennies or clams
And no one dares cha-ching
At his elbow to help anymore.

He levitates on his back
Arms arrowed past his head
Like Superman
With his blue lake cape sailing behind him
Flying away across the summer.

The Gallatin Street Market

The Gallatin Street Market was a secret.
The Gallatin Street bordellos were one too.
Hidden in the shadows of New Orleans,
weathered sign, arrowed finger gave no clue.

SLAVE AUCTION
CHOICE MULATTO MALES AND FEMALES

The market would take place inside an old wharf.
No decent woman should know how or where.
Men truly thought that this was so well hidden.
In irony more wives than men were there.

Premium MemberA Life Taken Too Soon

Rosy sky turns into gray
Between columns of a day;
Piercing hours like arrowed spires
To mirror my lost desires…
Babe groaning heaving thin air
Thoughts lonely sing of despair:
And clouds hide incessant grief
My toddler meeting life’s thief—

How finale chafes inked night
Through rush of incessant flight.

White doves flutter, dying words whisper
Silence ever haunting as Angels Sing
A single beam lights with a soft glister
To cause the shadows from a white dove's wing
This arrowed light pierces the dusky gray
Tethered to Heaven, soul's call from above
Your casket caressed as if to convey
Reveals my clenched fists from your death my love
I find no comfort from your final breath
Forgive me, as I taste this poisoned wine
So I may join you with love I confess
My spirit turns to darkness with this brine
Cloudy drops in this bitter drink I've made
To bring silent dark, my life will soon fade

Do Not Destroy

Do not destroy the joy of all we had
The good need not be lost when lovers part.
If you need space then take it and be glad.

Because I love you, I shall now be sad
But there’s no need to stab me in the heart
Do not destroy the joy of all we had.

With your loving words I once was clad
Now naked to the winds, I must depart
If you need space then take it and be glad.

The only constant love is that of God
No Eros is He with his arrowed darts
Do not destroy the joy of all we had.

On these forlorn, faint tracks I have once trod
In my mind I search for ragged charts
If you need space then take it and be glad.

I have my maps and now am fully clad.
With tenderness,farewell my dearest heart.
Do not destroy the joy of all we had.
If you need space then take it and be glad

The Demonical Trials

The girl struggles with her bonds.
A thought races in her head.
Why was I so dumb?
Why can I leave but I choose not to?
All is disturbed by a creaking sound.
A figure stands in the door,
Arrowed tail whipping,
Fiery trident cracking.
He glides to the girl.
Asks her about their deal.
She is free to go.
Yet she cannot move.
She tugs harder.
It does not help.
She pulls with all of her strength.
Nothing gives.
Then she thinks of the Lord,
The Son and the Holy Ghost.
And her soul rises up, up, up
Into the clouds of heaven.
