Satchmo's Trumpet - Homage To Louis Armstrong

From afar a sound of "Blues" so tender
Like Satchmo strumming his trumpet
His loud voice calling us together
Makes me in verses break into yesterday

Oh Louis...raise your voice to everyone
Make the trumpet's call sound loud
Chase away the fears of the crowd
And those outside who think they're alone

Oh Louis... now release the husky voice
Nice and slow, neither hot

Neil Armstrong in nineteen-sixty-nine
Moonwalked on the moon, the first in line.
There have now been twelve
Humans, no elve.
Don’t you think this is mighty fine?

now is all there is,
that's the nature of the beast,
relatively speaking
advantaging 'those' who control time...
now is a situation of absence and meaning
'those'...are us and our day to day routines
slowing down, to take advantage of the scenery...
remember the most wonderful childhood song,
'what a wonderful world' by louis armstrong...
well, now is all there is and it is

Remembering Neil Armstrong

The coal and blackened hands.
Zero was the cardinal sin.
After the lunar walk,
you flinch back in horror.

A gaint leap has ended
in a coal tar pit. Are you
sure we have landed
at a right spot ?

Extraterrestrial. An immune
disorder. Your autism
was evolving into a
monster of twisted brain.

Outside your home
dozens of bodies were

Was busted, confessed and became a sinner.

Lance Armstrong

Lance expects forgiveness now
For coughing up the truth,
Even though the clues were there
For any paltry sleuth.

Confessing all on Oprah’s show,
He hopes to get on track,
Believing that the sport would gladly
Want to have him back.

After years and years of lying,
While his fans continued hoping,
It’s a bit anti-climactic
To admit that he was doping.

A hero who has fallen
Often

Armstrong Is Gone

ARMSTRONG IS GONE.
This great leg who steped places
Not all men would treck
His vibrant head that was always
Blessed
Not all sence can learn,
Armstrong, destinies wagon, the
Golden legend
Surgion of human endervoles, even
The best among animals prefrence,
Your gaint visit to the clouds
Where the moon permanently rest.

My lips are sealed
See this almond tree thick and rich
But she thinks real

Premium MemberA Tribute To Neil Alden Armstrong

The end of an era has come and gone
Right before our eyes;
With the man who first stepped on the moon
Having said his last goodbyes.
While tens of thousands of engineers,
Scientists and lovers of space
Helped lift him up and get him there,
No one else can take his place.
From his childhood to

Neil Armstrong

The great man is dead
And he may find in this voyage
So many Columbus that left us blind
Without knowledge
Of earth indisputable speck
Steering the shipwreck
With malfunctioned cameras of dream.

The great man is dead
What this this new situation for him
Who made the first step
Through the wilderness of galaxies
On the threshold of the moon
Ambiguous mystery of origin
That makes man's

The Neal Armstrong Effect

i've got
the world
in my hands

it's time
to make
my stand

fighting
for the love
in your hands

it's hard
to move
alone

under water
sometimes i think i'm going down
sometimes i feel i'm gonna drown
sometimes i feel i can't feel
so i go under water

i don't want to hear it no more
i don't want to hear it no more

i take my chances
i'll

Louis Armstrong and Abraham Lincoln

Louis: How are things down there? Hear the Northern and Southern States are
having quite the disagreement. Congrats for becoming president.

Abraham: You're right about the unrest. I just hope a war doesn't break out soon.
How did you get so far- and even leave Earth - in the first place?
Seems to me

Louis Armstrong

"Pops" is gone
Master of the trumpet
  He dazzled
         with his artistry
  We listened
and watched
    The man could rip
out a tune.....
But if the truth be told
He is gone
He's with Bix, Miles
   and the others
"Gone from the
