Neil Armstrong 1969

Neil Armstrong in nineteen-sixty-nine
Moonwalked on the moon, the first in line.
There have now been twelve
Humans, no elve.
Don’t you think this is mighty fine?

Yes, I do. Did you know that Mr. Armstrong became something of a recluse after that experience?

I had no idea. Maybe the aliens put something into his brain?

I was 17, so I am an old lady compared to you Tom.

Thanks for remembering such a moment in history. The entire effort to get to the moon was a monumental and risky adventure.
