Flower of the Arid Desert

The desert wind fares wild and true
O'er a petaled face
Then scurries round with much ado
And roils from place to place.
Here where sunshine bakes the sand
And dries the dusty air
Here where legends roam the land ,
Where mortals would not dare.

A flower rises from the ground
And peers out from her bed.
Bashful, silent, not a sound,
She lifts her

Arid Earth

And there you stand by the broken brook
the rivers flow you never took
and on the dry bed there
the hand made boat of hope
without repair
still longing for the rivers heart
to keep its untamed bow afloat

And the mouth you used to say those words
empty now of spit and curse
leaves you parched upon the cracked and arid earth

Turn

Arid Climate

Strand is all around
In town heat wave all year round
Still life's safe and sound

Verses From the Arid Sunset

Tranquil 'pon a drizzling sunset
Alone with clouded sorrow
Partly anguish, vividly hollow
Armor piercing from hatred

Blurred mementos in the fast lane
a wildfire spreading fast with haste
Ashes all over, scattered like rain
A tragedy right at your face

My chest is starting to erupt
from all corners, losing focus
Everywhere are echoes, elsewhere's abrupt
Thirst to end this, nothing to lose

Interfering my train

Dry and Arid

The environment is harsh
Ground dry with barreness
The rays of the sun fall
Like yesterday, today and tommorow.
Lonely birds sing
In this arid place I now live in.

Scanty clouds show
Grass and shrubs droop in the heat
I scan the skies in hope for waters.
It is my prayer
My wish that waters would fall
To bring back life once again.

Winds howl

The Arid Spots of Life

There could be soft spots in this earthly sojourn,
But all agree that there are arid zones
That sear and inflame your bones,
Times you wouldn't want for a second relived;
The diamond rocks in the flesh of butter,
Occasions on which the claws of fate engulfed
And tentacles of hard luck mercilessly ground.

Arid

Fragments of copper scatter;
smothers an Opal kiss
the surface only matters;
ardour does not exist,
and deserts of weary Chicory
sway with limestone tips,
swelling like the cactus
blistering our lips.
