"she's more than
gold"
In her haven I
reside for nine
months;
she sleeps and
wakes in pain
until my head comes
out her womb;
she shivers in the
rain
when she searches
for my needs
o what a great
mother!
she's my mother,
she's more than gold!
she humbles her
breast for me to suck
though I bite her
nipple with my teeth
but she nods to my
innocent deed
when I begin to grow
teeth;
sickness emaciates
my bones,
and she annoints my
head with tears
she's my mother!
she's more than gold!
she nurses me till I
become her father
and she pilots me to
the evening of my life
to where my eyes
can see the world
She's my mother,
she's more than gold!
I pray for you my
mother
your legs will never
attend my funeral
neither your tears to
wet my infant grave
and I'll live to nurse
you to your old age
before you sleep the
sleep of elders

Child I've heard thou reverent pleas,
Loathsome sickness please take from me,
Tortured lungs through which you barely gasp,
Toil in pain and through breathing rasp!
Weakness comes as you lay bedridden and frail,
Darkness creeps and misery hopes to prevail,
Child I watch and protect you from up above,
GOD in heaven sends angels pouring out His love!
To bathe you with healing and strength to press on,
Listen to Him child,He annoints you in healing song,
His Word casts the darkness and demons from your mind,
You're His sacred soul and in Him, true love you will find!
Child as you go through this trial, stronger will you be,
Satan will be cast down, GOD's power will set you free,
Barriers that he has set will turn to dust as you pray,
Dragon warrior you will be; by faith your course will stay!

For Jenn-breathe deep, breathe sweet!
You lay there cold, not moving
I want you to blink. Why won't
you blink? Why won't you breathe?
I dont understand. Should I
have understood? Should I have
known then just to grieve?
Should I suddenly of realised
all matters of life an death?
What would be the point?
I stand there, just a child and
gaze at your ever staring
eyes as the priest annoints
You and says something I
do not hear. Is this all my fault?
I am filled with regret.
The confusion of a child is
not easily subdued. The
past in stone is set.
We walk from the church,
my Father's hand on my shoulder
as you are placed in the ground.
I close my eyes. My mind begins
wander. Just what in death
is there to be found?
Mnt and sage
Refreshing infusions through the age,
Rosemary an evergreen
Chive th smallest onion see;
Basil for ice cream & sweets
Fresh Majoram for that special treat;
Bay leaves heighten any stew
Coriander for curry too!
Oregano in tomato rescipes
Lemon balm annoints the breeze;
No wood above the ground
In these plants can be found;
Neither a shrub ,nor tree
In our gardens ,growing free.
