Exemplifying mother-instincts' best
Championing our orphanage caring-zest
Dear Meowna offers blest nurturing nest
Rearing up sweet kittens to the fullest.

While raising batches of cats midst her role
Our Meowna fulfills great life-building goal
Feeding well feline species to be whole
Guarding them against pests from drainage hole.

With her security-force that prevails
Protecting her children, she never fails
Not allowing sickness to touch their tails
Enclosing them from wounds of rusting nails.

For our Animal Welfare cause-fulfillment
God* favors along approval's settlement
Meowna props our fur-driven commitment
Inspiring us against crises' detriment.

Call from the beloved animals

Call of the beloved animals

Voiceless, We may be
     Heartless We are not
Please make the choice
     To be our voice

Wow Them!!!

Wow them!

Little sparrow
      Leaves twitter alone
Morning does not end
      Until the tweets are done.

The pigeon
     Does not use a billboard
To say
     I do not hoard.

The loyal dog
     Wags the tail
As he runs to meet
     His master without fail.

Cute Monkey steals
      The banana
And playful antics
      Our dear heart

The lazy python
     Does not program
Patience shows
As it waits for the chow.

The alert rabbit
       Knows no bad habit
Other than making us
       Share HIS produce.

The little chicken
       Grieves for
Missing family
       Just like humans do.

Wonderful Cow
       Chews the chow
We bathe HIM in milk
       And HIS beauty glows.

Watch Mother duck
       Walk little ones in tow
Does not pride in
       Her face glow?

Bumble bee
      Could not fly
Say the scientists
      Flies he, anyway.

Tiny ant
      Works all day
Showing us
Hard work is the only way.

Animals and more show
     So much love
We should
     Protect them now.

Premium Member Unique

She was a rarity, original and unique.
An artist living high atop a mountain peak.
Her home was eccentric, a flair of modern and old.
A mansion in the mountains, beautiful and bold.

Her hair was long and wavy, colors of the rainbow,
And she dressed in vibrant colors from head to toe.
A known philanthropist, who gave away her gold.
Her art is worth millions, new paintings and old.

She was also an activist and defended women’s rights.
To have seen her picket in town was a welcomed sight.
She donated to all animal welfare organizations too.
Her identity is a mystery, her real name no one knew.

They called her Sassy Unique, her signature on her art.
Cherished by town folks and known to have a big heart.
She recently died and left behind her mountain home.
Years of searching and still no real descendants known.

In her will she donated her home and all her art.
A plaque captured her legacy and philanthropy part.
Now a protected sanctuary with her plaque on display,
Welcome to Sassy Sanctuary, please help save the day.

A Bull Fighter Was Killed In Eastern Spain

Everyone who knows me, realises I get my inspiration from news items. Today, Sunday 10 July 2016. There was a mention on the radio of a bull fighter being killed in Eastern Spain, whilst fighting a bull and being televised live. Pardon that last expression, but it was actually used. I have always been a keen supporter of animal welfare. I hope this poem does not offend anybody, but you know it need not have happened, both the death and this poem!

A Bullfighter was killed in Eastern Spain!

A bullfighter was killed in Spain!
Not by a sword or gun.
No, it was by a bull.
In an arena of no fun.
You see the bull should have died.
The Matador bow to applause!
Be cascaded with flowers.
By senoritas so adored!
Did everybody gasp?
When the bull won instead!
Did anybody praise that bull?
To see their hero dead!
I have not watched the video.
I don’t know if there is one.
I expect others killed that bull.
No one praised that one.
Who in a one sided battle!
Did the unthinkable!
And.
Won!

Condolences to the widow if there is one and children if there are any. (The mad Author)
