I first locked eyes on her in those salad days,
When my eyes was packed of ignorant bliss,
Some summer days felt like paradise
whilst others were stuffed with abeyance.
When I gaze into the heart,
What I find is towers of gravity,
Keeping up the world.
The wakeful castle looks upon me
wondering if I am worthy.
Now you suffer like a ant.
Around me I am surrounded,
By all faces of old and young,
Bodies from Aberthin to Attock.
Teeming of everyone all around.
Yet you see the floor is full of angler fish.
Out on the dancing floor,
moving my head to the beat,
Fun and free with no responsibility.
Then you wake up hungover
And realise it was merely a dream.

In the deepest darkest sea,
where sunlight is non-existent,
the deep-sea angler fish lures its prey
with a bio-luminescent bait
made by its symbiotic bacterial mate.
Deprived of light from above
it emulates the mighty giant sun,
teaching it a thing or two
about self-existence
and self-sufficiency.
A tiny micro-star
shines so bright in the cold
deep, dark, dank depths
with insistent, incessant,
self-existent and confounding,
bio-luminescence.

Silver ball roles in dark-deep-blue-mix sky,
Silhouettes of trees, as deer-antlers, lie;
An angel seems swiftly appear and pray,
Pink spreads like special effect of a play...!
Moon, like a princess, now swims in blue lake,
Escorted by stars; each looks like a snow-flake;
Does the angler fish torching moon-star paths,
Know that in lake-tubs they're having their baths...?
Is the wolf searching his companion lost?
Is he eyeing, a fawn to get exhaust?
That owl in thick spectacles seems to scan,
Night-scapes as though for them he has a plan...!
Hay-roof-huts look like Siberian cats,
Stooping in silence to catch brown field-rats?
Insomniac frogs croak feeling unease,
While chirping of crickets are yet to cease...!
Enchantments of night-scenes feelings evoke,
Not to express, silence, my mind does choke;
Words, yet, like streams betwixt Hyacinth fields,
Flood from my pen breaking orthodox shields...!

Apparently, only the female angler fish have the lures, that light up to attract prey.

Nothing compares to your hands
I bathe in your warmth
the hollow of your armpit
is my shelter...
It cannot be helped
we can't be anywhere
except together...
I'd like to paint you
I choose crimson
my fingers touch your blood
life springs from your flower-fountain
folded lips caress the seams of my eyelids...
You injected yourself into my life
entering my blue and red streams
I cannot filter you out
you have bitten me firmly
the paths of my nerves are yours...
It seems you are so much me
my type O lover
I cannot tell anymore
the what is you and what is me
there is love in cellular arrangement...
Your dark angel eyes
cut like swords inside my flesh
waves rush between our bodies
my blood cells which are my stars
flows to yours which are my lights...
We share the warm blood of lovers
I once read where
the Angler fish attaches himself
to the female with his razor sharp teeth
and in time they share a common bloodstream...
