Entered and did not place in ‘ANOTHER 2025 POSTED POEM’ contest. Judged 1/8/2025.
Marriage could not bind us
but the stars would hold their own
aligning us together as soulmates
forever and a day
touched by the cosmos
and remembered with the cyclic sunsets

The stars aligned differently today
They called my name ever so sweet
Winds, rain, fire dance beneath my feet.
Call me Jane I'm unknown I bestow
You a loss soul. Touch my soulless body
Curess my heart, you aren't though person
You thought you are.

Your stars are falling gracefully,
but mine are crashing.
Your resentment is painfully justified.
But my love is too.
thoughts swarm the universe
the world I created in my own head
where you read me your verse
and I add another
a world where I don’t have to wait
for your stars to follow mine
Or some sort of fairytale fate
because we’re effortlessly aligned
I tell you
“my thoughts are like a meteor shower”
you tell me
“meteors crash”
But they’re also radiant
creating a beam that’s hard to ignore
so I don’t mind if we crash
even if you embed your stars into my mind

My biggest influence was Van Gogh, after he cut off his ear.
For being lopsided and askew is what I don’t fear.
His uneven brush strokes and off-balanced yellow sky
Makes his art intriguing, he simply is the real guy.
I am a cartoonist, a poet, a writer, a painter too.
Like Van Gogh, I am off-centered, slanted, and slightly askew.
My fingers are crooked, my haircut is gorgeously uneven for sure.
I squint when I see you, my artistic prowess is childlike and pure.
Like Van Gogh, my art is not appreciated, yet, I am fast and I’m quick.
I love stirring up paints into mixtures furiously colorful and thick.
My biggest influence is Van Gogh, after he cut off his annoying ear.
With this kind of guardian angel, I have less than nothing to fear.

Planets Aligned
Planted on a planet
of alien aims
The planters plan as parents
Aliens of alien names
And so goes
The planters woes
The Earth shows
In biopic frames
The day that is done
Leaving no one
To recon
all that remains

God helped remind
Crowned our chest with knowledge
Love was acknowledged
Hurried still while thoughts remained
Life was forever changed
Tranquility of rivene
As we entered the stream
Sense of pure enjoyment
Smiling through every moment
The dream still vivid
With nothing omitted
People who surround
All truth was found
Our hearts of revelation
The souls filtration
Powered back
To see what lacked
All it took
Was one single look
Saw change in me
Through the reflexion that I seen
Hope now felt
Within myself
Our sand shall last
We may sustain the mass

here I am here you are
what if the stars aligned
daydreams come to life
reject fear of rejection
blast all inhibitions
let’s just be real
let’s just be us
I have dance moves
you show me yours
I’ll hold your hand
and you hold mine
it’s all surreal
we’re finally alone
we dance we flirt
and let the music move us
as our souls meld
in this sweet magic moment
let’s see how romance
can change the night

“void centric, blissful presence here is free
each moment in the flow, joyous entrée“
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As we are by God being gently breathed
Each pulse sensory felt by consciousness
Egoless presence with each touch is pleased
Melting in the stream of the that oneness
Endowed with power of co-creation
To both think and feel, we have head and heart
Loving thoughts birthing joyful elation
Here within, is where bliss ignition starts
Life perfect, if we be in alignment
By free will with love in resonation
Recognising form as an instrument
Our detached presence in meditation
All is readymade, nothing here to be done
Vibrationally, with universe one
An urge arises from within
and with narrow thought rested
we look at it spherically
for ego stains in it encrusted
Recognising that the affirmation
we are about to utter
is a wish granted as soon as voiced
being aligned with the Creator
In the gap of intent and action
we pause cause of discontentment
surrendering the craving to our soul
within the spacial heart resident
The domain therein throbbing with love
all embracing & non-judging
if the heart nods yes to the affirmation
the magician continues co-creating
However if conscience holds its breath
indicating we are chasing illusion
it may be wise to take a u-turn
immersed in prayerful meditation
As my stars align i quiver,
Searching for the next step as i age and wither,
My destiny i try to figure,
Yearing for something bigger,
I slake my thirst through small achievement,
Tears i burst when the timings convenient,
I search for something more,
Scared to settle for a life thats a bore,
Adventure is something i crave,
Falling into a day by day slave,
My own path i pave,
I will not cave,
As my stars align i quiver,
Slowly.. i wither.
The way our hands explored, the thrill we felt
Our eyes were glazed, our hearts so wildly throbbed
The chill outside, our eager mouths did melt
A prelude to romance, sheer passion robbed
We fled the streets, abandoning all grace
Shedding inhibitions, with immodest grins
Then tumbled into bed, locked in a tight embrace
Our hands a-tremble, worshiping pale skin...
The stars aligned that night, their vast array
They sparkled and they flickered, brilliant flames
The moon shone bright, did silhouette our play
The Heavens beamed, our tryst they did proclaim
O cruel morn, too early have you come
To shine your light on love, to strike it dumb
The day that we met
It seemed our fates werent to be together
Because i was in a mess
With someone that threw me away after using me
Then leaving me for death
Things being the same as before i felt like a used,
Heartbroken and battered door..
Until our destiny aligned
And we both saw the flawlessness in what we grew together over the course of our heartache and time
Like two plants, I see a vision of use growing together firmly planted and intertwined together, never to leave eachothers sides
Even through the storms that blow through and try and pull us up as we branch together and hold tight
Never will i leave your side boo
Never. Not until the end of time
Until everything ceases its rhyme
I will not leave you behind..because you are forever mine
And il let it shine for all to see through there own eyes
