Airstream Poems | Examples

Metallic and ancient it slept

Found the abandoned misused tomb
Metallic and ancient it slept
Airstream trailer, silver bullet
I wandered the forest and wept

Found a rusted knife in the ash
Metallic and ancient it slept
A kitchen tool, left in the rain
It was just begging to be kept

Found a can of neon spray paint
Metallic and ancient it slept
I helped my siblings paint our barn
And at time’s end, away we crept

When rainy skies are gray and sun shines through
Remember to look up for the rainbow
Colors bring clarity to what is true

When things are foggy and it's hard to know
A direction for your purpose to grow
Remember to look up for the rainbow

Give yourself comfort so that you can go
To places where your soul will be at peace
A direction for your purpose to grow

Catch the wind for your tension to release
Carried by the airstream currents of love
To places where your soul will be at peace

Every mountain stands witness above
Positivity fuels strength from within
Carried by the airstream currents of love

Watch the landscape change through every mile
When rainy skies are gray and sun shines through
Positivity fuels strength and a smile
Colors bring clarity to what is true

Premium MemberHow Long Did She Plan To Stay

I woke up to my mother-in-law’s snoring noises loud and clear.
Come! I said to my husband. I swear that your mother is near.
Outside on our front lawn we saw a parked Airstream with windows wide.
I knew for sure exactly whose big mama was sleeping loudly inside.

She had built a little fence and put out two plastic flamingoes, pink.
I was so consternated and confused, my mind would not let me think.
“Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!” my husband yelled, knocking on her door.
She did not wake at first, continuing with her horribly loud ugly snore.

The kids got up and began yelling “Grandma!” glad to see….
What had sort of kind of actually irritated me
Pink birdies! They yelled, thrilled with this woman from Ioway.
My only concern was, how long did she intend to stay?

Premium MemberMessage of Gratification

Nippy crisp morning’s walk
Condensed clouds gathering for a dance
Sounds of cheerful birds whistling their customary songs
Underneath a hoody, shivering body feels cold wind’s upshot

Fallen leaves have ornamented the path
A huge Maple tree has shown a big heart
Loosening its grip, it has given permissions to its leaves to drop
Turning them into spectacular reds, oranges, yellows and browns of all sorts

Leaves come down twirling with poise
Steered by airstream showing their magnificent styles
Feeling their soft touch Mother Earth smiles
Cuddles them gently while whispering sweet lullabies

Feeling her warmth, with gratification they start crumpling up
After working hard in spring and summer they are very tired
Are eager to provide their beloved tree their last nutrients
By blending into the earth the remains of their characters

As they decompose, their nutrients filter into soil
Help enrich future generations of plant and animal life
A significant message they instill without pride
To let go of things that hold us back in our daily lives

Reflection

A reflection

Today is the last day of June and thanks
to a northerly wind and some rain, it has been a good month.
It is a Siberian airstream wonder if it knew
I was a communist until I saw it was just a dictatorship
where men in ill-fitting suit decided our future usually so old
they lived in another century their idea of freedom had
little to do with reality.
Today Russia is a modern state semi – democratic and there
is a freedom of speech if played by soft violin music.
But Russia is worried the mighty USA is spoiling for a war.
I will not think of this afternoon, enjoy the cooling wind
and let the world pass by.

Who Is She

My mind is thirsty for her,
I search her in the sky,
I can hear the sound of her legs everywhere.
That's why my mind is always cry.
Sometimes she peeps into my thirsty mind,
Sometimes she comes to me in my dream,
I can feel she is not far behind.
I can also feel she is floating over the airstream.
she is not a crooked woman,
In the light of the darkness,
She treats me as like as a clergyman.
I can see someting is shining on her face called shyness.

Northern Skies

Lightning transverses the sky like a living fire
Anger burns through the soul with eerie desire
The growth of it in temporal nixes of fifth element one must admire
The meaning of increases greatly and the highest number with literal interpretation awe will inspire

The fury of lighting is supreme
The under fabric of the expanse in it makes it extreme
It feels surreal like a dream
The demon wreaks havoc among airstream

But like all storms it passes by
And soon sun appears in the sky
The under fabric increases from expanse to druid star in a blink of an eye
The sun after the storm is divine glory that refuses to die
