Juxtaposed Coast

Fabricated coast, they arranged a brigade
Aggregated to oppose, braving the waves
Saturated stones, awaiting decay
Exaggerated to juxtapose,
The real contained by the fake.

Professing control, they replaced the coast
Repressing the flow, sustained only to erode
Acquiescing the blows, an unstable repose
Depressing the both, the wave and the stone.

DEAR GENERATION

Surely, there is just one singular truth
The world your inherit is moving in brute
In a pace so threatening to sail with
Yet everyone's hurrying with their fleets.

Dear Generation of intellect and science
Amidst this chaos, learn to pause and take a deep breath
For this world of science is full of distractions
Let love be your guide for your resilience in kindness it abide

When you're gone do you want to be proud of who you were?
Then lend me your valuable time and a ear
Your race has just begun yet your end is very near
Do yourself good to have a memory of glory.

Understand that your way is not the only way
Embrace others opinion even if your values it disobey
Time is unlimited yet restricted
So make every moment of it counts for minutes are just seconds aggregated

Dear Generation Alpha, children of the Millennials
I know you're in it to enrich yourself
Then take risks, don't play it safe
Give all you have for tomorrow is not just another day.

The Words of Poems

Active and playful
         arrived from distances.. energized
           come and aggregated,
         join each other
           and as the birds land
in the poem, shelter of poetry... !

The Dancing Lights of Suburbia

Lights moving in time with the music
at a mansion in a neighboring town
Vibrations pounding through the stereo bugle
hark you feel it escalate then drown
projectors casting shadows of colorful hew
raindrops falling to the sound
windshield covered in dew
and moistening the ground
wishing to share that moment
with everyone thereof
but business interferes bestowment
and it was aggregated by the one I love
would have enjoyed it nor
if intuition didn't find me last night
I won't be discussing it to for
just hope everything is alright

My Precious

When I first set my eyes on you,
It’s like I’ve seen an angel,
An angel without wings but with celestial power,
Power to capture the mind and soul
With a strong magnetic force of attraction ,
My mouth opened wide with goose bumps on my skin;
Cold sweats aggregated on my forehead and
My heart raced more than the stallion ,
Your smile made me feel on top of Everest ,
And when you said ‘Yes’ to my request ,
I jumped on top of my roof like a lottery winner,
Your first kiss set my entire body aflame ,
I staggered like a drunkard ,intoxicated…
Intoxicated with wild grape fruits from foreign lands..
Your breath was like fire on my neck ,
Your scintillating voice causes great flow of emotions,
Engulfed in the euphoria of love and passion ,
Oh ,cupid! your arrow is golden and your hands icy…..

Hyphenated Americans

HYPHENATED AMERICANS

You have the biggies like Chinese-Americans
And Latino-Americans and German-Americans;
And miniscule groups like Armenian-Americans
Or   Bosnia-and-Herzegovinan-Americans;
But why do we never hear of English-Americans,
Scottish-Americans or Welsh-Americans?
Sound weird don’t they? Kinda unnecessary.
Anyone ever heard of Canadian-Americans?
Or Australian- or New Zealand- oh why?
And hey, what about French-Americans?

These are not hyphenated Americans
They are eliminated Americans,
And other groups include
Old people, who are Antiquated-Americans
Mothers - Unappreciated-Americans
Pre-1492 Yanks are Antedated-Americans
AFL-CIO are Aggregated-Americans
Dwarfs are Truncated-Americans
Smog-breathing residents of LA are
Asphyxiated- or Hyperventilated-Americans.
Thank God I’m normal, I’m just American.
