Temptations are Undercover Agents. Cleverly disguised.. Each one strategically placed to test our current level of progress, and use of divine will power.
Today here
Absolutely no fear
Gone tomorrow
We must now borrow
Expenses unforeseen
Ceremonies and meetings in between
Funeral Directors need money like candy
That life insurance not taken, would have come in handy
We troop in to contribute
Tea and bread to distribute
Last respects to pay
Hidden costs to defray
Life is terminal
The cost of death phenomenal
Spiritual gifts become active
Our faith in insurance, that reactive
They love to say
We leave areas grey
Total disclosure and utmost good faith
Read your policy we sayeth
Ignorance is intolerable
Without insurance life after, is unbearable
Have a vision, have a dream
Best served with life insurance, it would seem
Watch the world unfurl in my hands,
Submitting to my demands.
When you stack the deck it's just a game,
But you'll never win what a shame.
My truths are based on lies,
But you flock like flies.
I have built a throne made of bone,
And soon the world will be prone.
Look at you standing there with a glare,
But fighting me? You wouldn't dare.
When my smile fades understand I own you,
And everything you know or knew.
Watch the world unfurl in my hands,
Submitting to my demands.
Have you ever tried to sell your house in France?
Have you had the Immobiliers lead you a merry dance
They tell you what your house is worth
And then they promise you the earth
Then disappear from view with ne’er a second glance.
You start to think you’re living in a slum
The phone it never rings, and the viewers never come
You sit at home and wait
For that agent at the gate
But they never show which leaves you rather glum.
And even when they bring somebody round
You have to wait an age to hear the faults that they have found
Like “The kitchen was too dark”
or “we need more room to park”,
or “the central heating made a funny sound”.
Maybe you should try with someone new
When you’re getting pretty desperate it’s the only thing to do
But you find they’re all the same
They soon forget your name
And they never send you anyone to view.
You wonder how they ever make a sale
They’ll always fob you off with a story or a tale
Of how the market’s slow
And no-one wants to know
But they’ll ask for their commission without fail.
Heavenly messengers, God-sent,
Who guard us from evil dangers,
Angels are God's secret agents.
Entertained by some as strangers,
They are God's mighty ministers,
Who guard us from evil dangers.
Rejoicing over repenters,
Shining forth with dazzling beauty,
They are God's mighty ministers.
Holy angels do their duty,
As cherubims and seraphims,
Shining forth with dazzling beauty.
Praising God in 'angelic' hymns,
They have their limitations, though,
As cherubims and seraphims.
To 'heirs of salvation' below
Heavenly messengers, God-sent;
They have their limitations, though
Angels are God's secret agents.

- A Dark Limerick
There Once Was A Man Named Several
Who Became A Secret Agent For The Devil
But When He Asked His Boss
What The Job Would Cost?
He Was Told, 'That's Above Your Pay-Grade Level'

Some Secret Service Agents indiscreet
Savored the charms of ladies of the street
They angered Obama
Now they must face momma
This is when they will really feel the heat

Tiny rooms in basements somewhere not far from the docks,
pink light ,no air-conditions. Cartagena girls on contract going
from city to city, their best years are as short as footballers;
only the girls have short contracts and in no time they end up
in third division. I remember this because Obama’s security
guards, coming to a foreign country went wild, living as they
do in a country where the puritans rule, those caught
philandering like Tiger Woods, get his balls cut off and he will
never be great again. Ok, Obama’s guards should be mortified
it is just the freedom to be a man not having going through
rituals of courtships and feel reckless. Not easy to be American
male squeezed into an iron jumper by the moral brigade, all
is legal as long as you don’t get caught…and if you get trapped
go to the nearest church and confess in public, tell everyone
you are a Christians who have sinned, you’ll be forgiven if you
castigate enough, tears will help; but remember do not argue
with a prostitute.
Spiders are best known
For taking untravelled paths
For fresh feast of flies
Rats take the paths worn
And every crumb I lost reclaim
Bad habits for death
(another peice of writing I found from my first year of high school)
Embrace the dark.
Throw yourself over the edge.
Be more than this.
Control this, live, breath, feel it.
We taste the bitter sweet chaos on our tongues
we laugh and scream in wild ways
we dance menacingly in corridors
we are the strangest owners, most powerful holders, dangers of the night
we watch as you burn, giddy with freedom, our anarchy of terror
we are the greatest,
and we have control
Feel the intoxicating spirit, breath it in, let it fill you
This is our experiment,
we will force who you really are
What you survive (if you survive) only makes you stranger
Tonight belongs to us.
We’ll watch the world burn.
Try stop us, we will fight,
Try catch us, prepare for the chase of your lives.
….and here we go….
There in jail a pow camp, Name good and its cold WAR
