Loving From Afar

Loving From Afar

Staring at you even only from a distance
Is enough for me even without a chance
Your presence I always got from a glance
Making my heart comes out to dance

Suitor of a dream, catching a midnight
Sailor in the sea, waiting for a twilight
Breaking the horizon, nearly left to right
Loving from afar is like losing on a fight

The hundreds of but, what if’s, and maybe
Are the cycles of love and what it can be
It may be romance, subtle, or tragedy
Just like loving you without knowing me

But no courage to show the feelings inside
Doubts are dominating with fears alongside
Beats of the heart doubled like a riptide
But I will always here loving by your side

Dinner Table

We sit and share blood the colour of wine
that ripples in glass on table which stretches
stretches stretches oceans between us. You’re
there but afar and I’m here but foreign. I wonder
what question you’ll ask me; what magnolia reply
I’d gouge out of the thinning air. Your hand flinches.

Premium Member I loved you from afar, under the shadows of silence that stretch like a veil

I loved you from afar, under the shadows of silence that stretch like a veil,
Knowing that one day I would have to detach my soul from yours,
And now, as that moment approaches with heavy, leaden steps,
I sit with the weight of all emotions, asking myself why.
Why did I open my heart, knowing you were not mine to keep,
Why did I let you in when an ending was written in the stars?
I wish you knew how much I cared, how deeply I loved you,
How far I would have gone just to make you stay.
But I am afraid, afraid that in every world, in every written story,
You will never feel the same love that burns within me.
So I remain silent, hiding my heart behind a smile,
Loving you quietly until the quiet is all that remains.
I am a poet with broken wings, my words are whispers lost in the wind,
My integrity overwhelmed by desires that will never come true.
But even in the silence between us, my love remains, like an untold story,
One that continues to live in the mystery of every endless night.

A tweet from afar
Strikes a chord
Echoing now
Stirring the pot
With the wails
Fanning the flames
A vacuum is come
A dent is done
Making yesterday’s pain
An unwilling tale

Something Afar

Cobwebs hung in dust of stars
the moon a cracked pale marble
balanced on a razor’s edge
Pools of sun rays n midnight bars
Phantom voices call me from afar
Things seen; springs ring echoes
Fade as headlights blaze keen!
in the rushing rain, the rusting wind
midday at night behind the wheel of a ruin car…
like dusted stars, they die, fall afar
moonlight in streams of neon dreams
a razor catches the fury, of fire light
a single footfall upon the floor
waiting for a ghost train
that never comes to its destination
lost in mist & rain
something calls from afar

Sonnet for a star

How can I express my thanks from afar?
Lately, drove past me, smiling and waving,
In such past times, he was my guiding star,
Treasuted image of him I am saving.
"Sit tight, dear one, you see things to the end,"
Always I recall what he had to say,
Separately, path did onwards wend,
I really never know, except to pray.
Steadfast, he came turning back to me,
Inspiring in this dear eternal love,
Far and beyond in that century,
Teaching that all our gifts sent from above.
He gave all he ever met happy heart,
Before time and our human breath do depart.....

ALLOW ME TO LOVE YOU FROM AFAR

allow me to love you from far

Our connection transcends fate; it's an unexplainable force.
Though it led us to a dead end, I can't let go.
I've realized I can never love another like I love you.
This love controls me, and I'm powerless against it.

Once, I believed you were my destiny.
Now, I see that our paths diverge.
You seek an exit, while I long to hold on.
If you're my destiny, then I'm lost without you.
Any other fate seems empty.

My heart remains yours, and the love within endures.
The more you pull away, the stronger it burns.
If this is our inevitable end, I accept it.
But know that my next partner will receive only my body;
My heart will forever belong to you.

It was crucial for you to know how I feel.
Please don't forget me as you move on.
When our paths cross, don't avoid me.
A simple greeting would soothe my longing heart.
Allow me to love you from afar.

I Admire You From Afar

If you are the sun
Then I am the moon
We may be millions of miles apart
The stars echo our joy, if only for a short time
You are praised for your light
I admire you even if I have to hide in darkness

You are a tapestry
That paints the picture of beauty
We may be on opposite ends of the room
Doomed the circle each other
Like the moon circles the sun
But I will cherish you even if I never tell you how I feel

Darkness falls a
A hush sets in
My animal drive
Promotes sin
Willfully I joined
Your soulless heart
Two creatures we
Tumbled in the dark
Moon a witness
Twinkling stars our show
Ensnared in your arms
To the grass we roll

wink from afar

.

                    i know only
                     your allow
               and what you said
                       when i
                        mine

               i remember only
               what you allowed
               and what i heard
               you'll remember
                      forever

Premium Member A Wink From Afar

soon to bid
another farewell, yet,
you've already unearthed
a smidge of sad longing
buried too deep within
to excavate.
as our sizeable distance
kept stretching apart like a rubberband,
first came
your reassuring smile
when you
turned your head
to look at me one last time,
and with that smile -
before slipping out of sight -
a careful aim
directly at the center
of my heart;
just one wink.
ah, so you knew it was
precisely what I needed?
it's torturous
watching you depart;
with a piece of heaven
to cling to...
gently,
gently,
ever so gently,
you pull me back from
the precipice of melancholy.

From Afar

From afar I have witnessed
Bonds that are strong
Inseparable from one another
Together, like the beauty in nature, they belong

Like the wind in a summer's breeze
Like the voluminous water in the sea
Completing each other
One in the same - naturally

To try to separate would be pointless
To try to remove or part would be insane
It would be akin to trying to get dry
By dancing, in a down pouring rain

True love is the same
With the synced rhythm of two beating hearts
What loving reciprocity has brought together
Is like a Rembrandt’s masterful work of art

However, love must be nurtured
Woven carefully, with intention, like a vineyards vines
It’s in the special care and attention
That determines the quality and resilience overtime

From afar I have witnessed
A young love that is true and strong
Inseparable from one another
Like the beauty in nature, they belong

Children of the Dust

Children of the Dust

What your eyes must have seen,
    as a stranger from afar.
what stories lie hidden in your eyes,
what secrets are held within your soul?

Exotic vistas play tag in your mind,
they say you are not of our kind,
you are thrown away as waste,
not a decision to my taste.

They say that you are but dust,
     blowing in the wind,
         their opinion is not just,
they know not where you've been,

I know you haven't sinned,
I know you are my brother,
        will accept no other,
for on your side I lean.

This Path, Afar; Eerily Prescient

In form, feature, these up ahead
Fading into nothing;
Condition, all soon catch up with.
In spirit, when dying.

Father, Gather Them From Afar

No matter where they are
Father rejoice
Blessed be your voice
I am the twinkling eye
You lite from inside
Father had given
To His Chosen
Entrance
Remembrance
Bless be your Holy name
Our Omnipotant Lord reigns
Brightest
Whitest
Blessed be your tribes
Together we rise
Forever together
God's love is forever
Blessings from you
Jesus Christ, we thank you
