Something Afar

Cobwebs hung in dust of stars the moon a cracked pale marble balanced on a razor’s edge Pools of sun rays n midnight bars Phantom voices call me from afar Things seen; springs ring echoes Fade as headlights blaze keen! in the rushing rain, the rusting wind midday at night behind the wheel of a ruin car… like dusted stars, they die, fall afar moonlight in streams of neon dreams a razor catches the fury, of fire light a single footfall upon the floor waiting for a ghost train that never comes to its destination lost in mist & rain something calls from afar
