You Are Your Own Friend

You remind me of me
And that hurts the most
When I look at you
I think of the cost

It's costs me so much
Emotionally
And what I tell you
You will never see

I think of others
And what happens to them
You think of no one
You are your own friend

You think that makes sense
At this time right now
One day you will see
That you did not know how

To give to others
And find joy doing this
What you can't do
Is what you will miss

Satisfaction
In all that you do
Changes in  Life
One day affect you
me

My Perfect Day

My perfect day is being at the beach
My perfect day is swimming in the sea
My perfect day is playing at the park
My perfect day is watching the birds singing away
My perfect day is having a dance
My perfect day is singing out loud
My perfect day is looking at flowers
My perfect day is being at Newark because my grandma and grandpa lives there
My perfect day is watching all the animals
My perfect day is spinning round and round
My perfect day is playing in the rain
My perfect day is jumping up and down

                     But most of all

My perfect day is being with my family and friends

Premium Member Two Thousand and Twenty Three Part 1

Through my Magic Window
I see the cowboys on the hill
Trying to convince the cattle
That they have had their fill

"Jist goes ahead un snuff nu blow
Cause ut er a thousan' miles ta go
Bafor youse'll be left un youse own,"
Called out Lester Lowe

"Two thousan' un twenty three a youse long horns
Er in fer a travelin' spell'"
Said Samuel the trail boss as he helped his drovers
Move the drifters to the dell

"This air youse first time,"
He sez to Little Zeke
"Jist keeps um a movin'
Un youse'll be a cowpoke by end a the week.

The first day went fine and Little Zeke did well
The same for day two, day three and four
He breathed a sigh of relief as Bob slapped him on the back
"Youse air uh real cowboy now ma man"

As they rode on
Each day was something like the last
Then the desert dust gave way
To the fresh spring grass

The drovers had to push harder
Trying to keep the herd a moving
When the leader thought she was boss
Samuel and his rope proved that she lost

" Fer Those Pickers "

'Twas a cold cold day o'tune,
Fer those pickers down in Boone.
Fiddles brought so had they'd ought,
Newest feathers just store bought,
'Twas a cold cold day a'tune.

Fer those pickers down in Boone,
That wind she whistled well.
A'high up steeple rung that bell,
As sun did set upon those met,
'Twas a cold cold day a'tune.

Those fiddles danced as songs were sung,
Among those there abandon flung.
On a cold cold day a'tune,
Fer those pickers down in Boone.

Oh now banshee wailed her greatest plea,
On that cold cold day a'tune.
While nighthawk sailed his flight o'free,
Fer those pickers down in Boone.

''There Is No Remedy For Love Or Who You Love...

everyday we wake up to a new day to new feeling's.
and seem's like a new day of a new life.
we put so much love and thought into our heart's to love and trust a person
only to find out in the long run they're the wrong one for us.
if only are heart's knew more of what a person is how thing's could be or are going to end .

Monday Aint Thursday and Thursday Aint Today

Another week is here and man I swear I dont wanna set foot from this bed I'll stay home
instead having breakfast in bed and rest my weary head but I know I got to go so I might as
well get started hit the door I'm on the road ready to start this dang long day but Monday aint
Thursday and Thursday aint today. What I would give to be on a beach and off my feet or
taking a stroll through Memphis eight days a week whatever would be nice or a simple day in
paradice but Monday aint Thursday and Thursday aint today. It's always Mundane mixed with
a little shame how I wish I was rich cause this same old scene I just wont miss all the
grueling hours and many long nights I've the heart of a fighter but the attention of a wire,
my daddy always told me I could reach higher I know he's right but not this time I need
some time to unwind cause Monday aint Thursday and Thursday aint today. I know I gotta
face today but it really is a drag just let me skip today and the next three days and I'll be
fine but Monday aint Thursday and Thursday aint today.

Living Inside the Sun

Living inside the sun isn't as hard as you think.
Speaking aloud makes the clock tick,
And i grow to reach the day to click
An answer buzzing inside my clock.

A lick put on the place,
The place we met, that place that meant
Words unsaid and people unmet
I just hope it sent.

A message to those boys and girls sitting
Around the fire
I begged to the God of mercy and thanks
But i thought of that place

That place we met, the place that meant
Words unsaid and people unmet
I just hope it
Sent.

That clock that ticks
Ticks when i talk
Talking tables toward the Trail
Of tears, of blood, of grace and *****.

I thought that buzzing answer was coming
Into reach
But it left me hoping
Desiring more.

And then the day came
The day i made the clock tick
When i found that answer to the way
The question was stated i thought it sent.

And know i realize with cold
Cold eyes that the answer was
In front of that place we met
That place, that place.

So now i sing
Now I dance
I just want you to know that
Living inside the sun

Isn't as hard as you think

Before Death Takes Me

I long to live by the sea...
A house among the shoreline, quiet and at peace
The sight of the ocean through the window from my bed
Brisk winds and a vivid sunset, a days worth to never forget...

And

I desire to see the City of Rome...
The inspiration that brought my novel to a close
The Duomo and the town they call Florence, Italy
There is no other place in the world I'd rather be...

Oh yeah,

A trip to see Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park...
Boston, I'm told has many historical landmarks
You recieve a map that shows where they stand
A brick trail to follow, the day couldn't be better planned...

Maybe,

To one day have a star named after me...
Where I can point to the sky and say, "That ones named Michelle, that one there, do you see?"
A thing so simple but something that will forever exist
Another starry night where I will be remembered, never missed...

But then,

A single wish that may push those things to second best...
A marriage to a wonderful man..Who? Go ahead, take a guess
The cherished moment that leads to a lovely life
Just to remain so happy and be a faithful wife...
