Burglar-exploits of Al-Qaeda and Osama Bin-Laden
Saintly-looking, yet, by Satanic powers crime-ridden
Terror-tied, adventured into frightening the nations
From Los Angels ignited their hellion-operations
triumphed razing the tip of the World Trade Center
Could they, yet, into the united household, forever enter...?

Spiritual Healing For An Over Fifty

When once upon a time one had to knock at your friends door to see if they were in because your parents had put a cap on the phone bill to stop you ringing  ....
When you recycled your bottles of pop for pocket money, a halfpenny for your fruit salad chew and you couldn't resist a black jack that turned your tongue blue ..
When your first job was picking fresh organic field mushrooms for the local grocery , a Tuppence a punet was plenty ....
When you helped the elders of your community across the road because their glasses were stuck together with sticky tape balanced on their nose ......
When your friend called Cyril the dog taught you to swim in the river and the sea and you adventured in  the pond on your makeshift barrelled boat , your spirit was free swinging on a rope amongst the river trees ...
When it was safe to walk to the park through your village , your community ,and you know you felt safe because everyone knew , you see ...
When the day finished off with scraps wrapped in The Sun newspaper shared amongst your friends whom you spent climbing trees navigating yourselves scumping apples over the old mans private fence ...

Janet

We met many years ago.
On a farm where tiger lilies grow.
The scent of an apple pie.
The bright sun shining in the sky.

I dreamt of the day I would meet you.
Yet I always thought it would be the hardest thing to do.
For the love I had for your son.
Your first born boy, your number one.

I wanted you to really enjoy the time.
As we adventured, purchasing crafts and spent our dime.
The weekend went by way to fast.
Yet everything we did, in my memory will last.

I cherish you Janet, for the fun we had.
For the talks, the wine ,I am so glad.
To know someone as inspiring as you.
For all that you did and what you liked to do.

Emerald Faerie Princess was eager to Find Lord Dragon Master
She had heard that he could fly her to England much faster
So many said he would be hiding in a farmer’s sweet pasture.
She used her magic wand, the super cosmic wish blaster.

The wish blaster instantly got her to a corn field that night.
But wise Lord Dragon Master was nowhere in sight.
Emerald Faerie Princess searched with all of her might.
A frog with a hernia gave her some new insight.

Lord Dragon Master has a toothache he has gone to get fixed.
She wondered if the frog’s information was a little bit mixed.
She knew that Lord Dragon Master had teeth that could chew cotton,
But she thought they were invincible so they never got rotten.

The frog hopped away after he had given his message of doom.
Right then Lord Dragon Master flew in with a witch on a broom.
I got your message yesterday and your invitation on Zoom,
He said to the faerie. So, you can ignore all the gloom.

He gave her a ride to England that very same night.
They adventured and partied and saw many a light.
She curtseyed to the queen, and she met an old knight.
And they learned that frogs often tell fibs with delight.

The Name of the Wizard

It was a dark and stormy night, The ships were all at sea
the wizard on the vessel was one who spoke old words
He was on adventure to learn about who he could be
and so he sang aloud and followed the birds

The wizard on the vessel spoke old words
that she had learned from those who name
she sang out clearly and would chase the birds
until he came upon an island of fame

they had learned his own true name
he landed softly on a narrow beach
upon the island of old fame
and found a place where they would teach

As they landed on that dark beach
she adventured to learn what he could be
and found those willing they to teach
It was a dark and stormy night, the ships were not at sea

Adventured Servitude

IN VENTURED SERVITUDE

Faster and faster
it became my master
Quicker and quicker
I became sicker
I blazed a trail to the dark side of tomorrow
Then laid a highway to a city they call “sorrow”
More and more
I needed to score
And too oft the pickings were far too slim
So if she had to re-up I’d cop from him
Longer and longer
it grew stronger
As did the profanities my heart was screaming
While I described what the devil was deeming
The street became my siblings, both brother and sister
And yes, I tried to ignore the boil and blister
Boils because I’m the latter day Job
And never bowed to His eminence, alter or robe
Speedier and speedier it became greedier
too often
Too often too many friend’s final home was an early coffin

Daylights Break

Light from the sky
Warming my face
As I step out of the shadow
At daylights first break
The glisten on the water
Of a distant stream
Vibrant with beauty
Just like a marvelous dream
I step out into the open
And walk towards the light
Put both feet into the water
To see a miraculous site
A school of fish
Swimming past my feet
A luminous shimmer off of scales
A wonderful defeat
My worries had left
My pain subsided
And the balance within
Had equally divided
When day turned to night
Is when my adventured had ended
When daylights next break
Can I wander again
