Oh Father God, deliver us from adultery
May we sanctify the human body
Oh Lord Jesus, save us who are like Magdalene
Grant us salvation from bodily sin
Oh Holy Spirit, rescue us when overwhelmed by flesh
Be our temple and keep our spirits fresh
This we ask in our Almighty God. Amen!

Mine have been brown for some time now and refuse to grow
Rather or not your garden is any greener I'm curious to know
I can only go off the way your lawn seem to appear
The fresh cut grass smell anytime you're near
That promise of growth due to your daily manure
Unlike my garden, your beauty comes off secure
I can tell you have had a green thumb for some time now
I want to change from grass to wood chips but wouldn't know how
I been tolerating embarrassment from the eyes of others
Water can't hold under fake grass, shall I go any further
Other gardeners have given help and different suggestions
But I tend to over water at times leaving wrong impressions
I've tried different methods and every idea over the years
I've tried replowing, re-weeding with blood, sweat and tears
I realize your grass isn't greener and that my soil is just tough
But my current garden is withering and at this point I had enough.
Within the ancient tent of meeting shade
A woman stands where vows are made
The barley offering, silent, coarse, and dry
Is placed before the priest and searching eye
Her tresses loosed, she lifts a trembling hand
To swear she wasn’t with another man
The oath is written, then dissolved away
In bitter waters, a curse or hope’s mainstay
The waters heal and bless if innocent
If not, she bears the pain and embarrassment
In jealous ages, where doubt and faith collide
Her wantonness lingers if she has lied
From ancient scrolls and whispered fears
Sotah’s tale persists throughout the years
A ritual etched in Jewish writings and art
Recording the proceedings of justice, faith, and heart

In the quiet moments, I catch his gaze
Not on me but on another face
I see his smile, a longing look
In this moment my whole world shook
He looks at her eyes that shine
A longing there that once was mine
But when he turns to meet my stare
It is a friend’s warmth not a lover’s care
I feel like the other woman now
A place I never knew somehow
In his heart I thought I would stay
But I am just his friend at the end of the day
I wonder when his shift began
When I lost the old romantic man
How did I not see the love fade away
Or did I just hope it would always stay
I wear the ring, I share his name
But in my eyes it’s not the same
Unfulfilled I stand by his side
Not only a friend, but a faithful bride
But in my heart I crave to be
A woman he wanted to love fiercely
Dance in her fire
with your wicked desire
For the red moon
will be coming soon
In the approaching dawn
Your looks will be gone
You traded forever
for seconds of selfish pleasure
You chose the new wife
who will take your life
Dreams of becoming whole
have just taken your little soul
Fueled by vanity
you ran to her insanity
You were mistaken
Now you are forsaken
Everyone thought you were better
but you were never that clever
When you believe you belong

Fervent poses the soul’s only possible keepsake

Memories flood my thoughts as I pray
Convicted by the desires we can’t unmake

Cleverly the age worships adultery

You have heard that it was said
'You shall not commit adultery'
But I say to you
everyone who looks at a woman
With lust has already committed adultery with her in his heart [MT 5:27-28]
He blooms intimacy with her,
She got captivate and left unheard,
She kept on weeping and uttering
It led her to stress and discomfort,
He sat stable, greedy, needy of wanting more affection,
he didn't acquaint with her love,
Her notion lead on to put one's trust in faith and reliance,
She then executed her sense of awareness,
He wasn't interested in her, all he had a fancy for her anatomy and bodywork.
He framed her in his misdeed,
She insisted to stop and let her wannabe,
She grew stronger with no strings attached,
Her mortality got split into the illumination of Facts.
One fine day, a flame of inspiration gazed her intonation,
She reflected the melody of a light walker in preconception.
Her milestone of reaching heights were different patterns of rhythm and pauses,
All she flourished with a set of behavioural interventions and causes.
She just discovered infidelity
And she knew the throbbing was eternal
Knowing to forgive with pure clarity
Her heart needed to light the nocturnal
She would be a warrior to absolve
Quite experienced in the art of love
Giving fully and with complete resolve
Fulfilling her heart’s gifts from up above
She needs to hear the whisper within her
Reflecting on the compassion that gives
Thru the faith, peace and hope which does occur
Breathing echoes of harmony that lives
With a fighter’s soul reaching out to him
She touches his heart like a lovely hymn

It takes a lot of nerve to admit to your sins
But facing everyone after they know the truth
That your heart has left you with feelings for
Someone other than the one who you were with
Giving into the passions that make you a sinner
Leaves you playing with desires that ignite fires
Of yearnings within the heart and spirit where
God only knows you’ve tried to remain repelled
By the evils that will find you out and force you
To admit to the wrongs that surface in the heart
Who desires more than a mere touch, but more
So very much passion that feels so inflamed it
Attracts the depths of the soul to grow tangled
Into the union of two who hold onto the needs
That prevent them from being absolutely honest
Without immorality or indulgence into any sin
Adultery is a wrong that discovers the sinner’s
Deepest thoughts and strengthens the ones
Who long to find the courage to let go of the
Dance of deception found out by the adulterers
It takes courage, though, to finally let it all go!

She has secrets she won’t talk about,
Secrets she hides far away,
Things that only she knows about,
Things that are kept from display,
Secrets she keeps from her husband, her man,
Things never spoken or said,
Things she does in this other man’s house,
Things she does in his bed,
And she keeps secrets from this other man too,
Secrets about her family and home,
This other man believes she lives by herself,
In a house where she lives all alone,
And none of her friends know the secrets she keeps,
Each day she wears her disguise,
Keeping her secrets behind a wall of deceit,
In a web of adulterous lies.
It hurts the Lord, who is everything

Brings about divorce
