In An Instant
In an instant,
one or more lives can be changed forever.
A car crosses the road,
now headed for a pick-up truck.
The driver, husband and father to be,
lies dead on the road.
The wife and mother to be will some how survive,
but will never be the same.
The unborn baby will also survive,
their lives will be changed forever.
Their loving mother

Adopted
In the shadows, softly praying,
Seeking God – love’s light portraying
All the wonders of hope and grace,
Blessings poured out through His embrace.
In the silence, a gentle touch
Fading softly – glowing so much
It can feel like the heart is growing,
As the past pain seems to be slowing.
In the whispers, lips keep praising,
Lifting God, who is so amazing.
All

No way do we want my adopted hometown, Everett Washington, to become another sanctuary city
Seattle Washington of King County is where I was born in early October of 1954.
And it already has become another sanctuary city. What is a sanctuary city? In
the case of the USA and Washington DC--'it is nothing more than a sanctuary for
dangerous criminals and terrorists,' who are illegal aliens flooding our northern
boarders'. Washington State

The King's New Hope
In days of old, a king of Hope did reign,
With joyous heart, he welcomed a new gain.
He was expecting a child, a son to bless his days,
A future bright, a hope that never fades.
In his preparation, plans were set in place,
His kingdom joyous, smiles on every face.
But fate, unkind, upon him cast its shadow,
The wicked

My Adopted Burg
My Adopted Burg
Once upon a time I saw the vibrant
Roses on your streets, festooning both sides.
Now some of those appear wilted, as if
Mauled by a virulent strain of fungus.
Now I see frosted feet seeking cover,
Marooned in river of woes flooding streets.
I see them pushing their stuffed shopping cart
to better

Zellas Adopted
Zella’s Adopted
Written: by Miracle Man
December 6 2020
Almost daily, Geese come in scattered flight,
to her front yard pond past break of morn.
From where they flocked for respite last night,
they honk for a ration from her shelled corn.
A neighbor’s cow dogs show up each morning,
seeming amiable, that’s why she would risk it.
Both just appear without prior warning,
like

Rejoicing In the Lord As An Adopted Child
This is a poetic testimony of a child from an orphanage ...
adopted by loving parents:
Though I look sober, still in the Lord do I indeed rejoice
Grateful am I to hear my father and mother’s voice
With “We love you, dear; you’re a child of our choice.”
As a baby, a lot of things I can’t understand…
But, I’m

Adopted
Privileged…
Adopted* child of God
I’m cared for unconditionally
Being drawn to Him in prayer fellowship
Intimately, joyously, serenely midst pressures
With His sweet favour delighting me by His grace
Propelling me to render my utmost to Him for His honour.
*Ephesians 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of

To Our Adopted Daughter
The night that you were born
Our hearts were filled with love
We knew you were precious
God sent you from above.
When we held you tightly
In our arms you would sleep
You are such a blessing
Tears of joy we would weep.
Lindsay is our daughter
Gave birth to you that night
She tried her very best
To make things seem

My Dog's Adopted
At what age should I tell my dog he's adopted?
Don't want him to start drinking, and getting el blotto
He was bought at a store
And even what's more
He isn't a human though he tries to act macho

Adopted
So you got what you wanted
I was always haunted
Little did I know
It's was all about your little show
Instead you knew how to throw
My life away
You made me bleed
You made me cry
This made you feel so high
Treating me like I was the other guy.
You broke the only thing I had of my mom
And

No One Mentioned It But She Knew
No one told her she was adopted, but she knew.
It was a well-kept secret. No one had mentioned it.
She met her birth mother once accidentally on the street.
An inner voice said ‘there she is’; it is her.
Their eyes met.
Same hazel circles, same hair, same face.
Her birth mother looked older, worn out.
Their souls were forever

You Have Adopted Me
You have adopted me,
you took me by your chest.
By telling me love, yourself you.
Stole me from me,
You have adopted me,
you took me by your chest.
How distressed, I am alone.
Staying for yourself, crazy thy.
You forgot that moment.
You Mixed me by with your heart.
You have adopted me,
you took me by your chest.
