Acclaims Poems | Examples

The Great and Needy

All the bold and strong
wilt when left alone,
any African Violet puts them to shame
for such hardy blooms thrive in the shade.

The mighty, the celebrated, need the sun
the very same sun that shines on us all,
they crave the bright light only for themselves,
that is why -

when they find themselves un-illumined,
they may turn into a little Hitler
or some other needy grim reaper.

Even poets go mad
when the world acclaims them too much,
see how they scribble in the gloom
of a lightless moon,

see how they ponder upon their genius
growing darker and weaker
day by day,
word by every anemic word.

YOU CURED MY LUSTS

What a beaut!
My mind silently, hopefully aspires,
As you made me terribly perspire,
I am now having troubles to respire.

What a healing!
As my heart cried for your uncommon love,
I was healed by the briefs of your laughs,
All along my eyes were covered with sloughs.

What a beauty!
My eyes instantly exclaimed,
Mine surely one of the many acclaims,
Going, by what your gestures proclaimed.

What a feeling!
As you made your love available for me to trust,
You instantly cured me of my past lusts,
Your love would have been the most painful I lost.

The fire logs glow, flickering to and fro
in her eyes he sees champagne dreams of love
the soft adagio plays a velvet tune of jazzing blow
right atop the hearth, she's fitted like a glove
Red hair flaming, ruby lips untamed her rubicon
a blush, acclaims her cheeks await the dawn;

Each dancer holds on cue precaution to the wind
style and grace in every move "amour est bleue"
with burning eyes of here, go rescind ,
a love is built on arcs of passion's queue;
Scarlet thoughts roseate skin enflamed a marathon
of amoureuse, bending arching longing one on one ;

Her hair a crayon colored Autumn proffers romance
and all the philharmonic musings of a lovely dream
together they loop meandered agile as a water dance
rushing towards each other skin to skin seam to seam ;
Wine colored kisses taking in a world of bless
garnet hearts of shine never to confess

they once lay dormant in the crook of night
now fired, ready to ignite....

Black Wings Above Mountains

Slowly the pace of the mother song
On her ultimate quest to find life
Flying pass her past awful duty calls
To win Genesis of her beginning.

Just as the mother song onwards the blue
We travel our own ends atop the hill
Running above sufferings and hardship
Gathering unstable belief about thrive.

Ignited beyond the blackest strain
Lashing through days of the unexpected
For a fairer or for better countless end
To wait patience and find endurance.

No eagle with no scar ahead
As human eagles couldn't pay that
But be it mountain or the valley ground
I remain unbroken, unbeaten by the sun.

Lies atop a waiting dime of the soil
Stays for whatever ruin acclaims due
I belong in the sun, to stand alone
I belong in the rain, to behold a dash.

Splinter

Slow falls the gentle smile
and nevermore settles to eyelash light

In humbled sorrow
of now lentissimo rhythms of burdened heart
too sad to utter a moments tear
that wanders petulant on a distressful cheek

I care not says the resolve of whimpering eyes
and to falsify the endeavors of strength
carries this weeping soul
embraced in thunderous acclaims of a wretched throat

Drown myself in weighted parchments
for no voice can repeat this riotous rancour
undisputed without complaint
for life is ever cruel it seems

Slow falls the gentle smile
and evermore settles sluggish on loves intent to dissipate

Within this grey stain assails a violent storm
I rest upon the cold stone of calm
to conquer this agony
for no-one

Slow falls the gentle smile
never willing to relinquish illusions hope

or admit to the the apparitions of despair
but you cannot walk away from the indefatigable spike
their driven nails disparity
obscure Prometheus stop this beating heart

BECAUSE OF YOUR LOVE

Beneath the walls of mortal
Flesh,
An unyielding heart reverberates,
Defying age and claiming immortality,
As your everlasting LOVE acclaims!

Hearth of Winds

Hearth of Winds

From west to east you plumb axisal spin,

And darted on the limbs of the poles.

On longitudes and latitudes, you are dotted in silhouettes.

Just above the horizon of age, you journeyed,

Beckoning the threshold of syllabubic windfalls.

Sated with doldrums of lambent haul,

And the pomp of sycamore hover instill.

When you call again at the Isle of trench,

The oracles of time shall tune again the aviary.

Seated upon the pillion of days the carter roves,

Tilting in all directions with hopes of succour.

A long way from time indeed you are,

But as the tides of valour surmise you triumph.

Once I saw an array of humanic acclaims,

In a manger of Sylphic heath of tenderness.

The hills of tonic travails titivating the hold,

And all the flakes of materialism dancing attune the vista.

The tales of deeds will forever entail polemic puzzles,

And the spate of the weaver’s loom shall reckon amidst.

Fate Spares No One

Fate spares no one
when it comes to inflict pain;
never being compassionate,
much less compliant...

Frequent supplications of pity,
don't appease this beast
seeking victims to devour;
and the stricken` are taken captive
without  tears to shed,
having nothing to hope for...
but they are all confined to agony,
cut off from anyone and anything!

Fate spares no one a single hair...
wealth or poverty,
ugliness or beauty
are put on a balanced scale,
to impart  all their own share;
equality is frivolous and unfair!

Plagues are infected by ignorance,
or by a shocking lack of regard...
thus making all an endangered species;
medicine doesn't always find the cure,
patients retort and give in to vengeance...
that's when fate flings its sword:
to remind them that it is
as invincible as ever!

Fate spares no one...not even I;
what life acclaims, fate disdains!
For endless ages it ruled over many:
deceiving hearts, destroying lives;
very seldom it was powerless
to take control over the strong ones,
who refused to see the face of a Goliath...
spreading terror through the earth!
