Time goes on after we are gone 
Time goes on before we are born 
How we came across the clock 
Is a curse  without remorse 
Every time I hear it tok
It ticks me off It kills my song 
To remember the death of our sun 
In the future so long ago

It's about time:
Time out of mind, time capsule, time travel, time frame,
Time zone, time to get cracking, time will tell,
Time to spare, time out, time off, time apart,
Timetable, timeclock, timeline,
Time for bed, time on my hands, time has not been kind,
Time flies, time stood still, time marches on,
Time to go, time step, time to kill,

how i feel about time

time is messy
gooey like molasses
sticky especially if you are a stickler for it
I choose to ignore it
pretending it is a fly caught on a glue strip
others race to please time
wanting it to rule them
I get a kick out of their frenzied belief in time
but do not buy into it
time is messy

IT'S ABOUT TIME

I retired after all these years
I sure had a lot of tears
And I have to say a lot of fears
After I retired I became a writer
But I knew deep down
 I had to be a provider still

 Forty-years ago I bought my first house
With my long- time beautiful spouse
After some time we had children

where gently huffs the wind 
in clicks of seconds undefined,
my entire being becomes aware 
how grasping unto this moment,
this flow of Now slips from
time , as sunray beats the light
way down to the ground:

inside this space where quiet trails,
a lake of senses rivers on
fluid in motion, while flowers gaze--
asking for rain-- their cheeks
turned upward to

     the clock showed 5:10 p.m.

   Now, ten minutes later

Throughout history, our nature seeks answers
To the elusive, and then to define.
Foraging for roots that are fundamental,
To their infancy and our bottom line.

Looking back with relative importance, the 
Infinite wisdom found it interwoven with space.
As our efforts then sought the miniscule,
With nanoseconds and Plancke time at the base.
