Bussed in is what they call it way back when
Busted mouth, broken chin
Where we the reason of everybody’s sin
Can you please just let me in,
Don’t wanna get beaten again .
Doors breaking, my knees a shaken
Don’t know how much more I’ll be taken ,
So I was sent to change the world
Im not a hero , I’m just an little girl
I was told I made them url
Round and Round but not a twirl
Fighting for this equality, what in the world.

Are you dying to live
or living to die
The answer to that
is in your laugh or your cry

64, Many More for Wren
We belatedly sing,
Uncork a bottle of wine,
For Jen “Teetotaling”,
We imbibe Jen Joy sunshine!
Annapolis is gaining as less “NYing”,
Jen Wren for out loud “Whinin’”,
Rick & you go out dining,
Listen to music that’s fine,
On the Bay, enjoy sailing,
To Darby, Rickie & Sean be benign,
Worse than a NY storm is taxi hailing,
Dress to the 9’s, with Rick align,
Parachuting, Mountain scaling,
64 is only the beginnin’,
Know when tight roping,
C# or B Flat endnin’,
Light a candle, Offkey singing,
Barbara & I Luv Yah without margin!

Ever since September 15th, 1991
I have been a fan of 94.9 FM.
Over the years, the DJs have been a lot of fun,
But you (Greg and Mrs. G) are the very best of them.
From Mrs. G’s ‘Not As Naughty As It Sounds Trivia’
To whatever’s happening in Tucson with ‘Que Pasa’,
I’m a fan forever, that promise I will give ya.
You will always be in my heart and in my casa.

Deeply rooted in the heart
Nurture with focus
Upward they can and will grow
Work and faith you need to sow

Mosquito Beaters Luncheon
Class of '64
By Franklin Price
03/17/2022
It was only just a week ago
That we met at Island Time
Older now and maybe wiser
Than when young and in our prime
The faces looked familiar
As the years were wiped away
We were the class of '64
Who had come to lunch that day
I exchanged hugs with ladies
With a light kiss on the cheek
Put my arm around the men folk
Shook their hands, I'm not a geek
We enjoyed each others' company
It had been too long, too far
Reminisced a lot of history
Got a few beers from the bar
When the lunch was over
And we went our separate ways
We had smiles on all our faces
From remembering the days

What a blessed privilege to know
that I have a portion which is the Lord
the best part I could ever truly have
for He gives me His mighty strong sword
This sword is His mighty inerrant word
my life is secure when I keep it
Lord, with my whole heart, seek thy favour
keep your promise to me so I don't quit
My mind thinks often of your testimonies
for my ways need be as your way
immediately hearing from you I obey
knowing your blessing comes without delay
The wicked seek to draw me in
help me never to forget your law
rise early to bring praise to you
for your righteousness will so draw
My companions are filled with godly fear
in your word, they dwell day and night
look out and see God's perfect love
be taught in holy writ for it's divinely right
(This is my " Psalm 119 project" which I began to write a couple of years ago, so this is the eighth poem of twenty-two poems I've written over that time to cover all of Psalm 119.)

So divine is thy profile pic
Like a pretty precious relic
Exuberant radiance oozes from it
And I uncap my pen to tweet
Galores of ideas gush from heart
To exhibit my literary art
For the Lord Goddess is simply charming
As thy display pic is just amazing
Wishing a jubilant flower feast
Happy Dussera in advance. Hist..!!

Who only Honor can, must never Love!
(And Yet, he Loves, all hidden and unspoke!)
Who hath Heart sworn to Holy Spirit Dove,
Can never break what must remain unbroke!
Yet words a-tangle mesmerize him, still!
They speak in echoes and tangential cries.
They do not dare the sacred chalice to spill
And yet he holds the image of her eyes
As jewels to look on, filled with misty hope
O! Would that I were he, that I might love,
And in my loving, hold the higher rope
But this, my friends, bears never thinking of,
For thinking leads to yearning, that, to doing,
When he that Loves must end his hope’s pursuing.

Millions lived in earlier days
With unique and different ways
Some reached up to heights sublime
Yet here and now is my own time
I can learn from days gone by
But now’s my time, until I die
My time to act and live and grow
My time to love and learn and know
My talents have been given me
To use and share creatively
This I’ll share in rhythm and rhyme
I’ll act today, this is my time!

When I’m Sixty-Four
In days of Sergeant Pepper,
When I was twelve years old,
The Beatles recorded a track,
That was Pepper solid gold.
A tune written tongue and cheek,
“When I’m Sixty-Four”
Never believing when I was twelve,
I could ever reach that score.

My neighbor's son used to be cool but not anymore.
He stopped being cool because he loves Superman 64.
He actually loves the fact that Superman has to fly through rings all day.
He used to have a lot of friends but that lame game drove them all away.
He has become an outcast just as his family feared.
He doesn't understand that anybody who loves Superman 64 is weird.
He keeps playing this game even though the N64 is outdated.
He was once quite popular but now that popularity has faded.
Girls refuse to date him, he has lost all hope of ever getting laid.
And it's all because he loves the worst game that has ever been made.
