365 Days Poems - Poems about 365 Days

365 Days

As 365 days pass,
I still look at the same moon glistening over the same ocean
I still hear your soft laughs in my head,
I can still see some of our broken faded memories,
As I keep coming back I keep remembering,
All those restless nights and happy days,
I would die just for those 365 days.

Will I ever feel ready as another year approaches and twelve months will soon be left behind?

Twenty-four containing pieces of an incomplete puzzle I hope to finish in twenty-five.

The year I cannot remember living, but I'm here and I survived.

A second chance at finding happiness, and once again feeling alive.

365 Days

365 Days

Days flow like water
A trickle, then a stream
Suddenly the year is ending

Days, nights turn like a carousel
Ups, downs, stops, starts
Suddenly the year is ending

Celebration of the good
Reflection on the bad
The year is ending

Fireworks, laughter,
resolutions, promises

Promises to savour the next 365 days
Resolution to slow the carousel

Days flow like water
A trickle, then a stream
Suddenly the

Longest 365 Days

They, we, I, made it. One year with a little more knowledge and somewhat of a grasp over the idea that 4  became 3 and 1, some ash.
It's been a whole 365 days, and you still have not come back. I believe some small part of me wanted this to be a nightmare

To see the world, all the good
as a child at a seasonal faire
counting months in inches grown
and inherited faint-colored hairs.

All days number
three hundred and sixty five
so glad they still are..
same as the nights,
in eternity of a young life
under crackling camp fires
and countless unnamed stars.

We survivors,

What If Thanksgiving Celebrated 365 Days a Year Part I

an earlier draft of this barely satisfactory missive ex post facto, i chomped asper with upper dentures upon evincing a couple of typographical errors, in up rye or draft, and did not wanna dodge being a spell bound stickler for typing words correctly.

though no obligation to trot out this fixation sans zero misspelling tolerance,

What If Thanksgiving Celebrated 365 Days a Year Part Ii

to dirt poor anonymous guerillas G.I. Jane or G.I. Joe
who cross paths with each other,
even those one doth not know

when ordinary biases, callousness,
   denigration...doth full low
out the mouths of hoity toity MainLiners
towards working class people - mow
awe less trying to remain

365 Days of Hell

Things haven't been going well since Mom died one year ago today.
A big part of me died with her when she passed away.
For the last 365 days, I've been going through Hell.
Everybody who knows me, knows that things aren't going well.

One day before Mom's death, there were two things that I decided to give her.
A

"This is dedicated to all who understand this. Whether we like it or not." -D.J.E.

I wasn’t gonna write this

But

Emotions are stirring high
Cannot believe
How much time has passed

Still feel your presence

Memories
Of the slowest death
Ever felt
Running parallel
To these present seconds

An ugly revelation
Tainted the sunshine
That bared on our souls

So many tears
Had filled the ocean
Of despair
For love’s
