Bed of dreams

I lay resting in a bed of dreams,

as time slipped away.
Heavy with the world's grief,
weakness awaits me—

laziness settles in my skin,

while all around, the spirit falls still.
About this poem

A hundred miles

I looked close —
Through the earth's leaves

It all wakes_
From a blink
The shattered Pleiades

rising; The moon-shadow
Encircling;wide awake n the dark

Never say never

Ngangaphantsi kwendawo yamaphupha kulele umjikelo wovuyo,

yet the light reveals the doorway of purpose and intention.
Uphazamiseko olukhulu lwenza umda wesiseko:

the ultimate destination, the crucial point,

usuku apho ikhaliphe elingcwele lifika ngovuyo olukhulu.
Ede eendleleni ezimangalisayo, ilitye elinexabiso liyakhanya—

a person’s highest calling, the core of their soul.

I choose you above all others
Ke go amogela ka lepotlapotla
	I welcome you eagerly
Ke amogela lerato la gago

I accept your love

Ke kgetha wena o kaone fela
I choose only you, thebest of you
You still my soul

Green

A quiet green bud
teaches patience
without words

Death

Winter candle fades,
silence folds the fallen name,
dawn wears their last light.

Overall Meaning:
The poem shows that death ends a life, but not the light a person leaves behind. Memory, love, and impact continue after they are gone.

Mother's hand

A mother’s hands are a child’s first home,
Where life’s gentle journey begins.
Through tears and tiny steps, her love guides the way,
Her voice calming every fear.
A light in the heart that never fades.

Premium Member bull frogs magic lily pad

Bull frog trained his lily pad like a magic flying carpet ride
It took him in and out the trees, giving berth very wide
Sometimes he rode it to outer space to see Jupiter and Mars
They also landed once a week on an asteroid near the stars

Premium Member "Born into a Family Created by Relatives "

Born into a family created by relatives.

Some folks come with the blood; others

Come with the character.

Family is the name they respect you for

You can walk,
Before you can speak, before you know

What love feels like or what void can do.

Kinfolks...

They're the ones life introduces at a leisurely pace.

Through the hard days, the quiet nights,

The moment you didn't think you'd make it
Through.

Family is the starting line; lineage is the ones

Who show you.
Who Stays
Who lend an ear
Who lifts,

Who love without feeling the necessity, A reason.

Blood can place you in a house, but residence

Builds you a home; names can tie you to a tree,

But demeanor ties you to an individual

Born into family, formed into relatives and

Somewhere between the two, you acquire the
Truth:

The people who choose you are the ones

Who keep you unharmed.

My Sunshine

My Sunshine
My one and only
My Sweet love
My Soulmate from heaven

My love whenever I think about I end up smiling alone.
I'm always telling myself that I find the one I love.
Tell what have I done to deserve such love?
You are the air that I breathe.
You are the source of my life.

Darling listen listen to our hearts beat
Darling I'm thinking about you everytime.
I'll love you today tomorrow and forever
I'll never stop loving you my pride

The ghostly bead

A superluminal orb, like frightful ghosts interred, have met this bead halfway and lighting struck the hearth, for another better dance, keening deerish prance, the mute mother said strung about them were dolls which pearls know are afowl and created another cart of food pulled by oxen run-to-mill that pulled the bead to start.

Premium Member TINY PRAYERS

God’s morning paints the world in gold,
and little birds begin to sing~
they know His love wakes everything.

Quiet wind tiptoes through the trees,
whispering blessings as they pass~
tiny prayers in dewy grass.

Dancing Dreamers Dang Range Thing Winging I.T.

It is a teamwork type of thing-
Ringing the bell so well
The next mashup of a maxed out bashing of an over flowing cup of mountain water upstream-
Kings the next castling on the other side of the ring
Ding-ding
Back for more “bling, bling!”
Onion rings on the side, pretty please!
Watch how my truck sings as it revs up after a mental rental goes caching ching
Just saying...
Lying, laying, slaying & spraying-
Weighed in like Jayda- WILL SMITH I "lit" my cig-
was fuzzy wuzzy big?
Failed Trigonometry
Sold Origami
My salami
Is like " Salam Aleiki"
Hate me please
It could be a breeze
I am NOT on my knees
Please
Jeez!
