not on my team

If I was eleven feet tall
I would happily play basketball
but since I’m a shrimp and can barely run
and not throw a ball, I am not much fun

No one wants me on their team today
Everyone boos when I decide to play
Not on my team! They say with malice
I’d rather have klutzy weird old Alice

i couldnt tel you more

but really it's top secret,

Dear Rex and Zex

Dex and Rex were two crazy insects
they lived in Delaware’s favorite duplex
Dex’s nine-foot pet was a large T-Rex
Whom Rex did not hesitate to hex and vex

T-rex named Zex had lots of purple flecks
Cousins argued they looked more like specks
he liked to lean his giant neck over their outside decks
drivers who saw him often had car

The gaza is the third world,

When the sun bloomed
And the bougainvillea blossomed
And her cheeks unfurled
Into a long smile
At sunset,
I had her in my arms;

When the whales sprayed silhouettes,
And the fishermen made their bets;
Porpoise stitched the sea
Into a sunset dress

For her to wear at the dance
That night after we argued
About strangers.
