now one hundred years to the day!
Greeted by friends that love you,
just look at their smiling faces
to know you've touched their hearts.
They've joined you here to honor you,
on this auspicious joyous day.
And to let you know what you mean to them,
in their unique and special way.
It feels good inside,
to be called exceptional
for just being you.
And bringing a lump to your throat,
a tear morphs into a smile.
