I found a little dove needing a little love -- injured, I took it in and renewed hope, the dove healed and flew away; I saw a child alone and crying -- sad, I knew not why; a little dove set on her finger -- lingered for an amazing while; danced up her arm a shoulder snuggle then lightly flew away; A little child a little dove both little angels~ can I honestly say -- a true story or poetic allegory a writer, fanciful, writes himself away....

A little dove injured and little child crying.... both needed healing. You gave it and both the child and the dove were made happy by your thoughtfulness. What more is needed to make a person feel contented. Needn't be a true story, could be an allegory too. But to think in such terms needs some humaneness. Dear Joe, let us thus become light to illumine other lives.

A little child, a little dove: both can be metaphorical or real. I loved them both.

Dear joe, this reminds of a real life incident which i had experienced with a little bird, that was injured and we rescued and took care of it until it got better and chose to fly away. Youv written a very heartfelt and soulful poem that flows so seamlessly. Pleasure reading you always. Sending you light. Happy thanksgiving

Thank you so much, IE. Do they celebrate Thanksgiving in the Maldives? I was thinking it was only a US Holiday...but why not -- every culture has something to thank his or her creator for. Blessings my friend. Have a beautiful weekend!
