Will You Be My Valentine
Turn your head oh so slightly
and step into me lightly.
My heart is pounding,
and I'm wondering,
are you going to be mine, darling?
I'm not yet willing to let you go,
as I draw a breath
and release a flutter of butterflies within me.
My knees grow week,
just to say in a million different ways,
"I love you."
