When the Sun Shines

When the sun shines bright With the blue sky seen the sunshine teases Shining like diamonds On the frozen snow That has spread outwards The sun shining bright Sun glasses needed To block the rays Looks like diamonds Shining sparkling Brightly in the sunlight

The sun shines like diamonds likewise the pavement in strong sunlight. My young son once pointed that out to me. In fact, my favorite song to sing to him was “You are my sunshine” :) Have a blessed day, sweet Darlene!
