What Love Is
Love is a feeling like you just might burst
with happiness, and love is like sweet wine
you cannot get enough of when you thirst.
But sip it slowly; things that are divine
can slip away. You want to make love last!
Love is a ride, a carnival of thrills
that some get on, then spin around too fast.
Too many people take too many spills.
You need to savor love and take it slow.
Love is the sparkle of a precious stone.
You want to show it off, for all to know
its beauty, but true love you cannot own!
Love is a rose, so treat it tenderly
so it will bloom for an eternity.
