Wabi-Sabi
Wounds continue to bleed, as the sun continues to rise...
Fireflies flicker, gasping for hope in their cocoon.
You and I, we are different, steering the changing seas of seasons,
amidst the delicate crevices of dusk and dawn,
we behold the same stars musing in moonlight.
So why dismiss the crawling clouds carrying frozen fears?
In the pursuit of picturesque horizons, I’ve lost my sense of perception,
while serenading dreams into thin air, longing to thaw frost-clawed leaves,
oblivious to the labyrinth of poisoned puddles—
hindering quills from embracing scentless willows,
and fields of eyes follow the route of lies, failing to feel the rooted trauma beneath rainbow skies. ..
Yet in the light, I fade; in the dark, I shine. For solitude and I wear twin anklets, as I let strife be the soul of my ink.
An empty canvas can home the essence of unruffled tomorrows,
like a melody without lyrics, a poet without poetry, soothing midnight sighs-
of a butterfly fluttering through thistles and thorns,
like my forlorn silhouette still swaying to the wisteria-whispers of yesterday.
