This was funny how you mentioned “ my wife volunteered us both for choir” ah and how you thought always something goes wrong and how it actually did. Brilliant limerick really. Well delivered, scary though fire. I hope no one got hurt.

It was fiction, Ink. No real fire. I was trying to be funny. Still not very good at this form of poetry. Thanks for the visit and comment, my friend. Bill

It's a Limerick I don't know. Not real. He just got out of singing in the choir because there was a fire. Thanks for the comment, Hilda. Bill

My husband was in the choir growing up and his vocal singing ability, or lack thereof was dire. His voice was his hands, and literally because he is the oldest child of two deaf parents. His choir voice was ASL. Enough about him, great job with this limerick!

Just having fun. I actual sang solos in church from age 9 until age 67. I was in a gifted boys' choir in Texas for 3 years. I even sang in a band my freshman year in college. My voice is fine. I wasn't talking about me in the Limerick. Thanks for the visit and comment, my friend. Bill
