Valentine Dreams
Valiant suitor in pursuit; for a valentine he has on his mind,
Aching to catch the eye of a lady sweet, fair and kind.
Longing to impress, in his intentions, he must truly shine.
Each day he yearns for a passioned filled fate,
Notions fill his head, with dreams of their first date.
Troubled briefly, that she would decline his advances;
Inspired by February's hearts and flowers, he would take his chances.
"Nothing ventured, nothing gained"; hoping his invitation would not be in vain.
Evening comes, the table is set, the candles glow; dinner and dancing a perfect
night for romancing.
