Sol slips over the Earth's edge,
where the horizon bleeds red.
And as night's curtain descends,
shifting shadows swiftly spread.
Dusk enters the Twilight Zone,
as silence fuels a hush.
And everything slowly slows,
life's no longer in a rush.
Shadows pool in silhouettes
below night's ebony skies.
And a crescent moon rises
as the last light of day dies.
Heaven unveils sparkling lights;
no matter how far they are.
Sparkling diamonds in the sky,
twinkle-twinkle, little star.
