Sol slips over Gaia's edge,
where the horizon bleeds red.
And as Night's curtain descends,
shifting shadows swiftly spread.
Dusk creates a twilight zone,
as silence fuels a hush.
And slowly, everything slows:
life's no longer in a rush.
Shadows pool in silhouettes,
below Night's ebony skies.
And a crescent moon rises;
as the last of daylight dies.
Dusk unveils a distant light
shining brightly from afar.
Like a diamond in the sky,
twinkle-twinkle, little star.
