Sol slips over Gaia's edge
as the horizon bleeds red.
And when Night's curtain descends,
shifting shadows swiftly spread.
Dusk creates a Twilight Zone,
where silence fuels a hush.
And slowly, everything slows;
life's no longer in a rush.
Shadows pool in silhouettes
below Night's ebony skies.
And a crescent moon rises;
as the last of daylight dies.
Heaven unveils sparkling lights;
to be admired from afar.
Sparkling diamonds in the sky,
twinkle-twinkle, little star.
