Touch Me-Dusk

Electric burning red golden rays smile As dreams dissolve by mere soft touch The dark lightly brushes the skin Reviving listless old bark Bright to lovely new grey Bold glittering stars A truce declared Earth and sky As one Joined Free As two Sky and earth A broken truce Bright burning hot sun Charring refreshed new skin Lovely grey to burning red Tired eyes await the dreaming dusk Fingers rub the pain from blushing cheeks Oh beautiful dusk envelope this scene By-Tahera Mannan
