Thoughts Running Free 5

Most of us have heard the quote, “as a man thinketh so is he.” Thoughts therefore are a part of creation. We were created to have purpose in life. Our thoughts effect what we become here on Earth. As created, we are our authentic selves by the thoughts of the Creator. To successfully meet the ultimate challenge in life, we must align our thoughts with the thoughts of the Creator, or just acknowledge the spirit within us and accept ourselves as created. Ultimately, we are our worst enemy. Many of us think we know better than our Creator, what we are, what we want, and how we should live our lives. I was given freewill by my Creator, without his guidance, I don’t want it. I give it back and acknowledge him in all things. I’ll follow the voice of the Spirit within me, align my will with the will of God my Creator, and be who God intends for me to be.

These "Thoughts Running Free" poems are just my thoughts on a given day. I hope they help people to think about some things they don't normally think much about. It's my thoughts, but not what I think everyone should think necessarily. lol We all chase different rabbits at different times my friend. Thanks for the FAV, Mike. You made my day! :-) Bill

such deep thoughts. I think my problem is that what I was taught God wants me to do or be never lined up with what I wanted to do (just be myself and have innocent fun), so for me, it's all very confusing. That is what religion did to me. I just want to be me, but I am up in the air if I am doing even half of what God expects of me!!

Sometimes we over think it, Andrea. Being ourselves may be the reason God gave us free will. There are many different ways to look at things and following the intuitions from within is usually the right path. We beat ourselves up too much. God loves us unconditionally.
