Then It Will End
In death we will be naked
shred the disguise
destroy the façade
and be so
vulnerable
In death we will be naked
With our wings we will raise
we will be wind
we will be sun
and stars
moon
birds will scream
With our wings we will raise
From our hands light will fade
it will glow softly
for a while
and then
snuff
out
From our hands light will fade
Our eyes will quietly break
a vision will retreat
will go inward
remain there
for just a
moment
Our eyes will quietly break
Will there be peace in death?
when no more questions
are asked, no answers
can be given,
Will there be peace in death?
