The Third Wish - a Charm
Our daughter made a wish; it was her third,
And Lydia Marie, a brand new child,
Has come along with cheerful smiles to charm.
Yes, with an infant’s usual sweet charm,
This small gift came, arriving on the third
Day after Christmas, a December child.
The lovely last-born of our own dear child
Keeps growing, showing more and more her charm.
A wish come true is she, our daughter’s third.
The third wish is a child who brims with charm!
