The Spider Who Changed Me
I used to hate insects until I met a small spider,
he was living in my garden making his webs;
that spider would skillfully traverse like a hang glider,
I loved his lacy delicate garden cobwebs !
I found out that a spider is a good thing to have,
so, I named him George and let him dwell among my blooms;
some days it seemed he was hiding in a green cave,
and from leaf to leaf sometimes he zooms !
But, one day it rained so much that George drowned,
I was so sad and it was like loosing a real friend;
hanging from his own destroyed cobweb he was found,
I still think about George the spider and his sad end !
