The Pride

The pride is all-in-one no one’s left out inclusive structure leaves room for harmony the power of the pride is paramount for their survival meals will be ordered structurally males eat first kill then lioness then kits. Male lions defend their territory eventually leaving their pride to go off and begin their own though devoted to the pride loyalty’s everything to the lioness respect garners more respect in the pride.

A perfect description of a pride of lions, as we see them at the Kruger National Park. My fav. sighting are the lions, I could sit in the car (we are not allowed out) and watch them all day long - majestic animals. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

I had the thrill of holding a lion cub once; got my picture taken with it; they are 10 times softer than my own cats. I was very careful holding it though, as they have huge claws and are very playful.

You captivated me with the 'design' of this poem, i.e., how it looks to the eye of the --- tiger.

This is so beautiful .....! We have to learn so much from Nature....the lion and the way they leave their pride to have their own independent existence. The lay out of the poem is very attractive .

Well written and informative. It seems nature has it all figured out, nice and balanced. I hope man is next. We can learn much from observation of how nature thrives. A poet friend in Texas, Bill I'll be following your poetry now, M.L., Write On!

I like this one. They are amazing animals but dangerous ones as well. Some day they will no longer kill to eat but will eat grass once more which will be even more amazing. Thanks for your visit to my page. I am glad you got a laugh because laughter is the best medicine. Sara
