The Neutral Man

Perhaps, I wish not to be so important? -- to go unbeknownst...by both God and the devil – to fall between the cracks, of their seemingly endless, bitter war: Of The Glorious Garden, and~ The Dastard Fall -- (One created me, without my consultation...the other, manipulates me, for his own evil usurpation -- ) Alas, I must trust in some greater plan, an unwilling participant, in the age-old battle, between Light and Dark, Me~ a want-to-be, Neutral Man…. (First of all, this is a poem, a story, a point of view. Do I believe most of this? Very Little. Why then was it written? Hoping to stimulate conversation. Conversation, for no other reason than, this type of mental gymnastics selfishly interests me. I do not believe that men, humanity, are neutral participants in anything. We create all conflict, through misuse of Free Will. What do I believe? No good and loving God would create a world, where the tiger must tear apart the smaller lamb in order to exist, nor would He create human beings that must feed on other species and things in order to survive. Prosper. What a laugh! No All Loving God, which I firmly believe our God is, would create, conceive of a being, like ourselves, with the potential for error -- He, knowing some of us would error, therefore, also created a hell – and then would condemn those fallen to suffer fiery torment for eternity. It is unthinkable for a truly rational, fair mind to consider such a thing. We do it all ourselves, keep the perpetuation going, due to, the God Given, All Powerful, continued corruption of our Free Will.)

1st I know ( God Is ) in the past I came to see it as There was a mighty power.!! Moving in the ether? Uncontrollable unbridled raw power.? Could it be the Power 'moving to filter out its negative power aspects?' I e lucifer.? In order to achieve order.? God is a God of order..' If this is so? It would shadow mans own battle with evil. Having written this.' I have more doubt than I did Then.' That is part of the reason why I write these kinds of works. To communicate...and learn. Like Trump turning his head, at the precise moment, I have been in some dangerous situations, actually saw, felt Divine Light surround me, enfold me...Jesus Christ is my armor and shield. My trust that I will go on in some essence regardless of what fate deals my human body...thus, I remain motivated to serve.

Yes, all good points, Joe; profound interactions and observations. I have had some profound supernatural experiences myself, and have met others who have had their own -- all of which I believe. During meditation, prayer, when I do my best to be a conduit for good, drawing light into myself and the world, often there are cold shadows on the periphery, feeding off the light, desperate for the warmth they have distanced themselves from. How successful I am, always depends on the degree of surrender to Christ that I can muster up. As the saying goes: "If not for the grace of God...." Thank you, my friend, for not hurling bibles at me. I only ask questions. I believe, each and every one of us, already has all the answers inside...in the palm of our hands. When firmly in Christ, nothing negative can reach us. Of course, I can only speak from my Christian point of view...others perhaps may see, experience life greatly different.

Been affected by him.' Yet others who have met God the Holy Spirit..I also have had this visit.' And yet others There are that i tiod they would see..Which they did.' So I am Not confident in my fleshly Self yet rather 'the intellect and power of God' for who may instruct Him.?

Through this mind blowing poem, you have invoked so many thoughts in me. I feel you have grown slightly controversial here. Of course, we have before us a world of light and darkness. I don't think God created darkness. It is the creation of the devil. When man defied God, darkness descended down on earth. Again it is a tug of war between God and the Devil. Man has Free will. He can either join with God or Satan. I don't think, here we can have a neutral stance.So better side with God, dear friend. :) :)

Could be...I don't know? God is all powerful...why is the devil permitted to do anything. Certainly God could prevent the devil's evil influence. God could just destroy evil. Take temptation from us. If God allows something to happen, then, in a tacit sense, is He not aiding and abetting? No. Yes. He is all powerful. I am not disagreeing with you. If I allow a crime to be committed, a crime I could have stopped...am I not partly responsible? There is only one logical answer, as you say, God did not create evil, darkness, and if we have truly Free Will, then each of us is an extension of the Fall. We can defeat evil...or propagate it. It is up to us. Evil has only the power we give it. Thank you, Valsa.

I have faith in one good God. Man is more concerned with evil. If he goes to hell it's his fault. Nothing can change my point of view.

I agree, Victor; and, in many instances, he, man, does not have to go far, often, continuously creating hell on this earth. Our destiny, the destiny of our planet is up to us. If a great asteroid hits this earth, our combined consciousness made us a target. There is a spiritual link between ourselves and all creation. Fortunate/unfortunately, we are all spiritually linked -- and the seeming totally innocent sometimes suffer due to the overt evil of others. Wars. So called, Natural disasters. They are difficult, if not, impossible to rationalize. Heartbreaking. Lost a dear friend in a traffic accident, minding her own business, stopped at a traffic light, garbage truck behind her lost his breaks -- horrific. A beautiful person. How many innocent children suffer learning disabilities, suffer from cancer due to chemical crap put in their foods, consuming what they thought to be wholesome?

WOW! A lot to take in in one bite, Joe. From the perspective of a human's mind, I could agree with the rant after the poem, but who am I to question what God has created and what He chooses to do with it or allow it to do to itself? I can agree that we have created our own hell on earth by using our "free will" to do whatever the "hell" we want to do with it. Being as our life on earth is but a second compared to eternity, we may be making a lot to do about "almost nothing".

When I pray multiple times a day, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven, it's my way of surrendering my will to the will of my Heavenly Father, that I may be part of reality instead of part of the illusion. All that I do that is good is through the strength Christ gives to me. I have confidence that I can do everything that God wills me to do. With God, all things are possible. I would like to understand it all, but I think that is what eternity is for. We will be as God is ... all knowing. I explanation of why I did everything that was not in got will for me to do would never replace what Christ did for me in submitting His life to pay the wages of all sin. His blood says it all to the Loving Father, God. I think I'm trying to say too much. God bless and keep you, my brother in Christ. They will know us by our Love! Bill

I think of the verse, " I am crucified in Christ, nevertheless. I live, but not I but Christ liveth in me. The life which I now live , I liveth through Him, that loveth me and gave His life for me." Forgive any minor error from this quote, it's from a memory verse years ago. I do believe crucifying our ego and, as I have, offering our free will back to God; we can allow God / Love to live through us and flow through us. This is the source of all things good in our existence. Like the things we give angels credit for, are sometimes God working through a person surrendered to His will.

Joe, my heart goes out to you, it wants to comfort you and bring peace to your soul. It also wants to comfort me and bring peace to my soul. Our minds, whatever they are or wherever they are, seem to have a need to comprehend the Truth ... know the Ture answers to our questions. Sometimes I think about things like reality. I think the only True reality is in Christ / God our Creator, everything else is the illusion we have created ourselves in the earthly world we perceive ourselves to be in.

Would any one us, from a Christian perspective, take an atom from the body of Christ, and consider it worthless? Or even expendable, insignificant? I would not. Are we not all brothers and sisters, in Christ? I have risked my own life to save others, on occasion for someone I have never personally met. I don't know, Bill...what is the value of a human life? Perhaps I am just mentally, spiritually confused...? I don't know.

And then reevaluate our duty and worth...to one another...and to the Father. I have no answers...only questions. Who am I? Who are you? We are substance of God, I think...that can't be trivial to my mind...I don't know. Why do I feel greatly important? And that you are greatly important? Why do I feel that God is of greatest importance? I don't know. It seems to go far beyond anything I have read or been taught...emanates from a deeper source of consciousness.

Hi Bill; thank you for commenting. I don't know, how little or how much worth each of us has. I do sense that God creates out of Himself...He does not go somewhere to acquire our parts...He is everything. So, that, in itself, must have some consequential value. Will life, creation go on, without any all around changes to the entire theme, where I not present?~ probably. Maybe not...? I sense nothing of God can be destroyed...changes, evolves in line with His will...but, of insignificance? Each individual, not having so much significance...? Every now and then, one of us does something, writes something, that seems so beautiful, lovingly perfect...I can't believe that God is not fully present in all of us. Up to each one of us, to start feeling and acting more important. Maybe, we should all start to take ourselves more seriously, stop thinking of ourselves as mere creations of God, but more as substance of God....
