The Ladies With the Flies
The Ladies With The Flies
When I get to heaven, before I’m settled in
There are some I’ll ask to see
Before I even see my kin.
I will ask my loving Creator, if I can kindly meet,
The mothers with the flies with their children,
Eating from bowls held by their feet.
For I believe they will be clean and glowing, babies smiling, fat and well;
Their tresses crowned, silk dresses flowing
Where they into Love and Beauty fell.
No tears, no flies, with special high places, for they had their hell on earth,
May they receive all of God’s graces.
Where we all will have new birth.
