As the moon caresses my window
Tonight and every other night
I invite you in my dreams
I call you onto me
To mesh with your spirit
To feel my grandmother's love
Like the reassuring embrace
To that little five-year old
Getting a kiss on the forehead
After her bedtime story
I call out to you dear grandmother
Somewhere in that endless sky
Wherever you may roam
To wrap your loving arms around me
As I lay my head to sleep
