The Coming of Spring
Night no longer eclipses day,
signaling the coming of Spring.
And winter doldrums get dispersed;
soon as the songbirds start to sing.
As innocent as a new babe;
Spring exhales breaths of scented air.
And melts away the ice and snow;
freeing the wildlife in Her care.
Spring revives hope within sad hearts;
rejuvenating dying dreams.
And paints magnificent landscapes;
with extravagant color schemes.
Evoking memories of youth;
Spring oft casts a nostalgic spell.
And titillates your inner child;
with a flowering bloom's sweet smell.
