That's quite the quandary you got there, Joe. Wish I had an answer for you, but did catch his hometown. :-) Have a great week, my friend. Bill

Sometimes hobos are seen in multi colored dress. They will be usually wearing the clothes donated by others and they don't care if the dress matches. So some of them remind us of circus clowns. No wonder the child thought that there was a circus in town.

You got it, Valsa. That's what I was thinking when I wrote the poem, a coat of many colors can make us look like a clown. Children see what their hopeful little hearts want to see in us. Thanks for the comment, my friend. Bill

clever limerick, Bill. I laughed when I thought of a colorfully dressed hobo. I wondered if hobos are the equivalent of the homeless today...then I read about hobos. Hobos are migrants who generally want to work; homeless do not want to work. On another note, I never saw a colorful homeless person. I'm rambling, aren't I?

Bill, it was a very cleverly put-together and funny limerick. Kids absolutely adore going to the circus, and their enthusiasm might be piqued simply by learning that it is in the area.

Truth to this - we used to go to the camps with our church, and especially around Christmas, people brought warm clothes down, and when it is cold and you're sleeping outside, you don't care what you wear. Some crazy outfits for sure. Enjoyed, Bill!

You're right, Jeff. Church camp always seemed to get cold at night. :-) Thanks for the visit and comment, my friend. Bill
