"No spring nor summer beauty hath such
grace as I have seen in one ... autumn ... "
Quote by _ John Donne
Leaves lay like a carpet of gold,
as mother tree weeps in the cold;
sad her children had to depart.
Oh, the color of autumn's heart !
The autumn air is crisp and cool,
hues are like a precious jewel;
each leaf a unique piece of art.
Oh, the color of autumn's heart !
My thoughts are sublime and quite calm,
for the mosaic is a balm;
and am full of words to impart.
Oh, the color of autumn's heart !
Scenes a rich tapestry telling,
autumn's story is compelling;
sad all that beauty must depart.
Oh, the color of autumn's heart !
Autumn wraps me in stained glass leaves,
till winds takes them away like thieves;
proud trees bare stand tall with their hurt.
Oh, the color of autumn's heart !
