Ooh, I love your "taut syllables" here, Sam! Not only are the tanka constraints described, but also the messages they are able to portray. Tanka seems, to me, like it would be an easy write but it really has its own inherent challenges one being how to create poetry in short brush strokes. Thank you so much for affirming my efforts.
