Note: I wrote this back in December and thought I'd posted it but hadn't. So much for my organizational abilities

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ December’s wintry breath is already clouding the pond, frosting the windowpanes, and obscuring summer’s splendid memories
Awwn this is beautiful, and im so glad youv posted this now dear sara, your way with expressing is phenomenal! And always has a very sophisticated touch to it, i really love the way youv painted imagery throughout this, and ofcourse the picture too, i love sunflowers, hence why i just cant get enough of this. When winter comes, so many dwell in the coldness, and memories of summer clouded, and would seem like a distant one, slowly fleeting! This is deep and evocative! Sending you light always
dearest Ink--your words are mindful, and I'm ever so grateful for your complimentary and mindful comments. I agree...so many dwell on the cold and those clouded summer memories. Has to be some beauty in winter that we'll miss when summer comes, right? Like the pure snow, the crisp air, the soft blankets, and the subdued light that gives pause to reflection. Okay, rambling. Thanks for your visit...have a pleasant evening,
Yup... although yesterday it was almost 60 degrees in Chicago, and I sat outside in a T-shirt for 25 minutes before I couldn't take a chilly wind anymore. ~ Never-say-die
dear 'never-say-die'--those chilly February winds are not at all pleasant. Was 70 degrees here Thursday and Friday. Then while out walking Saturday, the winds shifted and by the time I got home, your chilly Chicago winds cut me to the bone. I guess 'fake spring' is over. :-) have a splendid day!
