A Spring Etheree Poetry Contest
Sponsor- Tania Kitchin
~ Placed Third~

spring, thy name, is beauty. the sun is up, casting a bright glow. joggers emerge once more. dandelions peep from cracks the wind whispers sweet notes of love. birds on tree tops sing lovely duets and set my heart beating in a sweet rhythm.

Hi Valsa, schoolteacher, the shape of your Etheree, was written at Xmas time? Fancy that. I love everything about Spring, your fling with decorating it. I'm in sync with, "Set my heart beating in a sweet rhythm." Blessings.

Ah iv been missing so many of your poems lately, had some family health emergencies to attend to. So wasnt around as much. But let me start by highlighting, you are just a beautiful soul and you have a very artistic way of seeing and expressing.i especially love the detailed descriptions like “ dandelions peep from cracks the wind whispers sweet notes of love.“ how beautiful! So soulful and evocative! I felt the depth of emotions flowing throughout this picturesque etheree! So gorgeous! FAVE

Dear Valsa, I must commend you on your extraordinary Etheree. Your poetic prowess has successfully encapsulated the enchanting cadence, fantastical allure, and sheer joy of spring as it unveils itself through blossoms sprouting in unexpected nooks, the re-emergence of joggers, and the harmonious melodies of avian serenades, it stirs anticipation for the imminent arrival of spring. I extend my sincerest wishes for the contest.

Dearest Valsa, your have captured the "sweet rhythm," whimsy and delight of spring in flowers appearing in the most unusual places, "joggers" re-emerging, avian "duets" all expressed in your signature innovative imagery! This poem just made me smile thinking about what is coming as spring arrives! Bests wishes for the contest, dear friend. Blessings!
